Going to back St. Louis as the road dog tonight at VCU in the opener of the best of 3 CBI tournament.
Billikens allow just 59.7 points a game, 9th best in the nation, and are especially tough defending the 3-ball, giving up 27.9% on the year. That defense will allow them to stay within the big number.
VCU is 17-1 SU at home this year, but remember, the Rams struggled to get by a tired Boston U team coming off an overtime game in its last victory, trailing by 1 at halftime before going on a 21-8 run that eventually led to an 88-75 win. I used VCU (-11') as a free pick in that game and barely got the cover.
If you struggle as home against Boston U, you aren't going to blow out a battle-test St. Louis squad from the A-10 Conference.
St. Louis has won 11 of its last 14 SU. They don't get the win tonight, but should get the cover.

I want to apologize to all of you who I have pissed off, insulted, annoyed or aggravated over the last month or so in the former Fade Brandon Lang thread part II. It is no secret that I became incredibly frustrated with the fade, especially as I started subscribing to the belief that Lang was no longer making the picks. While I still question whether or not Lang is making picks, and while I remain skeptical of the changes in his approach (small dime increments, lesser plays) that have taken place, I am back to being a full-time fader and, more importantly, a Lang HATER!
The original Fade Lang thread was legendary, and I'd like to think that I — WE, together — made it happen with good humor, shit-talking and pictures galore.
Pimpy's original post in this thread made me remember how great the original thread was, if only for a moment. While I expect Pepper to infect this thread soon enough, I can only hope that we can offend him with words that could not otherwise be spoken in the service plays section.
Anyways, I am going to get back to the "old" Daffy beginning today. Anything I post will be under the assumption that Lang is making the picks. This will allow me to make fun of melon head, and to focus on hating him like I know all of us do.
