I know what you assume and what you don't. Also, even if you didn't imply that(i skimmed through your post, I can't be bothered to waste my time reading all your crap carefully since you've proven that all you type is nonsense) your post still proves how racist you are. And again...I'm not even religious and I've stated that many times so why bother posting that crap to begin with?

Also, I bet you have used the N word on many occassions in your life you liar. Mr. I love blacks.

Ahhh, so now we're down to you posting things that you think I assume but didn't say.

Fuck off ass-clown, you're an ignorant fool, I'm done with you.

When it comes to reporting on negative crap he's all over it. Yet notice how zit doesn't make one decent comment about this vid. Let's get back to the topic that Muslims ARE PEACEFUL PEOPLE!! We can argue and namecall forever, it won't change my mind that you're an idiot.

You ever actually lose a loved one directly due to Islam? Seriously have you? I have. A few friends. Yet I don't doubt for a second that Islam is a peaceful religion. The numbers are staring you in the face. Look at the number of Muslims in the world compared to how many of them are violent. The number is so tiny it's so obvious how peaceful the religion is. The middle east just needs to evolve and it will. Threads like yours that keep showing examples of violence etc does nothing but monger hate. I have a christian friend that is constantly hating on Jews. He just won't give it a rest. It's like wtf dude. Has a Jewish person ever directly done anything to you? Really. Some people just need to hate or obsess about something. It's like a sickness. It's ignorant too.

Even with all the crap from ignorant pieces of trash like you, this video shows not only what, Islam is about but what most of America is about. When it comes down to it, decent people all around. A lot of bad apples all around too but what can you do? I can't wait till everything is finalized and I move down south to the U.S to expand my real estate company. I truly believe ignorant people like you can't overshadow how decent most Americans are.

Jaguara,

Are you interested in having intelligent discourse on the subject or not? I'll extend the olive branch and apologize for the name-calling in here, I'm not the most patient person in the world.

But, let me know if you're interested in actually having an adult discussion on the matter, or if you just want to spew your blather. If it's the latter, I'll just move on, and try to ignore you.

Well I AM very patient and I don't take anything you say personally because you don't know me and I don't know you. We can't hurt eachother in any way shape or form(unless you're so sensitive that words can hurt you, although for the first time yes I did report your post where you used a blatantly racist term but that's just in respect for everybody else around that might be pakistani/indian or for that matter even black or chinese or anybody that has issues with racist terms. Other than that I will never whine about your name calling or anything to mods)

Where was I? Oh yeah. About this whole Muslim thing. Look, I get the whole, not every Muslim is a terrorist, but every terrorist is a Muslim.

I get and see all these examples of Islamic violence you post BUT the fact remains, compared to how many Muslims are in the world compared to how many are extremists, the numbers are tiny.

Also, when you post stories of a huband butchering his wife or daughter because she went out with a white guy or wore sexy clothing etc. guess what? That's just minorities that haven't adjusted to western society and are savage in their views. It's not just Muslims, there's stories in the news all the time about asians doing stuff like this, because they are also very strict in their treatment of daughters and wives, and yours truly indians, and other minorities. Same crap. It's not so much Islam but just minorities that need to adjust better and quicker and realize that just because a daughter wears a skirt or goes to a club doesn't mean she's a slut.

As for the bombings etc, yes I honestly do believe that America brings a lot of it on themselves by playing world police or going after oil. Americans blood boils when they think of 9/11 but you have any idea how much rape, abuse, killing of innocent women and children goes on by U.S soliders in the name of a so called war on terror? Some of these soliders get caught some don't and some, after raping an Iraqi woman or girl go home and are called heros. They have no right to be there. That's my view not yours. So call that a stalemate. You have tons of american soldiers that are coming out and saying the war is wrong, what they are doing is wrong and some of them even refuse to go back.

All these things we are arguing are about we will keep arguing about because I will never see it your way. My whole point is thread's like yours is what's bringing America down. Mongering hate and suspicion, brainwashing into believing all the bad in the world is Islamic. It spreads that nonsense and that is why I can go on youtube and finds tons of videos of an american hurting or being racist against a muslim and the same number of videos of a muslim retaliating against the racist.

Let's say for one second you are right and the terrorists are evil and just trying to conquer the world. Is hating on Islam going to help? Because as far as I can see it's making muslims and americans hate eachother. And it's more widespread than that because a lot of minorities are mistaken for being muslim so they become victims of violence or verbal threats to so they too start to retaliate.

DIVIDE AND CONQUER. That's what the british used to do. That's what the terrorists seem to have done. It's not just 9/11 it's the effects of it that can be felt today. Osama bin laden boasted, ''you americans will never feel secure in your homes again'' Ain't that the truth. They've changed security measures to the point where it's ridiculous. Society is being divided and that's not being melodramatic. Just go look around and there's a lot more hate around than usual. People are fighting over how to deal with this whole ''huge'' threat of Islam and so on.

That's my whole problem with everything. Asians experienced this back in the day and not the next fad is against Islam. Sorry but I for one am not buying it.

I will respond in more detail, but wanted to address the word that I used that you reported. I used the term "Paki" as a shortened term for Pakistani, just like people use the term "Jew" as a shortened term for Jewish. If it is a "blatantly" racist term as you say, I was not aware of it, but I'll take your word for it, and won't use it any more. Though, I know some people think "Jew" is a slur, but that word gets bandied about all the time.

The only Pakistani that I know very well is a guy in my tennis league, and he is a real nice guy.

Ok well fyi ''paki'' is the same as calling a black guy the n word.

Having been born and raised in Canada with very light skin and western features I've never really experienced racism but some of my relatives that weren't born here have been called that term a
couple times. Luckily racism is almost non exisitent in my city compared to other places.

NOUN:

Chiefly British Offensive Slang pl. Pak·is
Used as a disparaging term for a person from Pakistan or neighboring countries or for the descendant of such a person.
The reason it is hurtful is because I guess back in the day the british used to call indians and pakistanis that a lot and it just reminds them of that time of history. That's why I say it's the same as calling a black person the n word because it's not just a word it comes with a lot of history.

While the term 'Paki' has been adopted by some young Asians, for many others it is a derogatory term of abuse with overtones of racism.

The BBC programme followed the use of the term 'Paki' over the decades. Although it was deemed acceptable in mainstream television coverage in the seventies and early eighties, for many British Asians today it remains a totally unacceptable form of racist abuse.

However, some young British Pakistanis are
now trying to reclaim the word as a badge they are proud of. The move has been supported by entrepreneur Abdul Rahim who is making clothes with the logo 'Pak1' on them.

"There was Paki bashing. They were insulting, there is no other way of looking at this word." Bradford Musician Aki Nawaz who appeared in the programme 'British, Paki and Proud' says he didn't realise it would be called that when he agreed to be interviewed. In a discussion on BBC Radio Leeds he says: "I'm disappointed with the title. I was told last week. If I had known the title in advance I would have said, 'I will not do it under that title'. The term being endorsed I have a real problem with, it is absolutely unacceptable."

Aki Nawaz has experienced racism himself with people using the word 'Paki' offensively: "As I was growing up in Bradford and Leeds I'd be walking around and people would be going 'get that Paki' and there was Paki bashing. They were insulting, there is no other way of looking at this word.

"The thought that in the streets people will be calling anyone - it doesn't matter whether you're Pakistani or not, if you're brown and you look Asian - 'that' word. The word is going to be used to abuse them. I think if you're a young women or have young children, the term can create a lot of psychological problems for them."

"There's a history and a weight to that word, it's a derogatory and insensitive word. It is also being used by predominately younger Asian youth among themselves, but then it carries a different weight. But to say it is okay to be used daily in society, I think that just encourages people who probably already use it, and are racist to use it without any fear of getting into trouble."

The BBC have defended their decision in a statement saying they just wanted to generate a debate around how some Pakistanis wanted to reclaim the word:
"The decision to use 'Paki' in the title of the film was not taken lightly and the programme makers are in no way endorsing its use.

"'British, Paki and Proud' is a thought provoking documentary which seeks to challenge assumptions and the title reflects the fact that some young British Pakistanis are trying to reclaim the word as a badge they are proud of."

Well it goes the same for the N word. A lot of guys call eachother that because they are trying to take the word back. The debate will go on I guess. But I can assure you whatever happens with that debate if somebody every uttered that word to somebody they'd get their face bashed in unless they are indian/pakistani. Also a lot of indians and pakistanis hate eachother so indians will always hate that word.

What you just posted, well that same debate is going on in the black community. A lot of younger people use the word amongst themselves but the older generation doesn't like it. I guess even some of the younger population doesn't like it.

Let's say for example the n word was suddenly made ok somehow by everybody, wouldn't we all cringe at the thought of saying it outloud? I know I would.

As for ''Paki'' personally it doesn't really sting me. I guess having never really experienced racism and having lead a comfortable life it doesn't hold as much meaning to me. But for immigrants that might have been called that when they city waas younger and there weren't many minorities here or something like that I guess it would sting.

Well..I'm rambling. Point is, for your practical day to day knowledge, all you need to know is that you shouldn't say it anywhere while out and about for your own safety.

Also, you have to remember that I'm Indian so the word is inaccurate anyways towards me. There is a lot of hostility between young indians and young pakistanis. I mean A LOT. Indians go around calling pakistanis ''pakis'' in resentment. You wouldn't believe the hostilty between indians and pakistanis. Nevermind during a cricket match.

really, you turned him in for using the word Paki?? You pussy.

We've called eachother a lot of crap and it doesn't affect either of us, even paki doesn't really bother me esp since im not even pakistani BUT as hache man or maybe it was another mod, once told me this site prides itself for zero tolerance of racism. Secondly, that word might offend others that are indian or pakistani so it's just out of repsect. Why don't you go get a clue and move on chump.

Muslim villagers burn houses of Christian family Upper Egypt

Al-Masry Al-Youm Staff

Fri, 30/12/2011 - 12:

Photographed by Ibrahim Zayed

Dozens of residents of the village of Baheeg in Assiut, Upper Egypt, burnt three houses owned by a Christian family after a Christian villager allegedly published cartoons mocking Islam on his Facebook account.
A number of Muslim students attacked their Coptic classmate for posting the cartoons, a Muslim student told Al-Masry Al-Youm.
The Muslim students attacked the Coptic student on Thursday at Monqebad Secondary School in Assiut. Eyewitnesses said the military intervened to break up the fight and escorted the Coptic youth and his family away from the village. Later, Muslim villagers set fire to the family’s houses.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and armed forces and police imposed a security cordon around the site of the incident.
Major General Mohamed Ibrahim, director of security in Assiut, said security forces are attempting to coordinate with Muslim clerics to calm citizens and contain the situation.
Christians make up about 10 percent of the population in Egypt, which totals around 80 million people.
