  • ISIS terrorist is believed to have been behind attack that killed a US Marine
  • Staff Sergeant Louis Cardin, 27, was killed in northern Iraq last month

.
An Islamic State rocket expert believed to have been responsible for an attack that killed a US marine has died in a drone strike in Iraq.
Staff Sergeant Louis Cardin, 27, was killed last month by an ISIS rocket attack that also wounded eight marines at an artillery position in the Makhmur area of northern Iraq.
On Sunday, Colonel Steve Warren, the spokesman for the US-led operation against the jihadists, said: 'Several hours ago, we killed an ISIL (ISIS) member believed responsible for the rocket attack that resulted in the death of Sergeant Cardin.'
The news comes as the terror group killed 15 of its own members, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Outcry as Muslim students are exempted from Swiss tradition of shaking teachers' hands at school after 'refusing to adopt their way of life'

  • Muslim students will no longer need to shake their female teachers' hands
  • Male students complained the custom is counter to their religious beliefs
  • The decision provoked outrage in the tiny Swiss municipality of Therwil

PUBLISHED: 17:14, 4 April 2016 | UPDATED: 20:26, 4 April 2016
Muslim students in Switzerland will no longer need to shake hands with their female teachers, in a ruling that has caused an uproar and consternation in the country.
Education authorities in the northern Swiss municipality of Therwil, in the canton of Basel-Country, reached the controversial decision after two male students complained about the Swiss custom.
They claimed shaking hands with the teacher is counter to their religious beliefs if the teacher is a woman.

Two students in Therwil (pictured) claimed shaking hands with female teachers was against their religious beliefs, which do not permit physical contact with a person of the opposite sex except with family members

They argued that Islam does not permit physical contact with a person of the opposite sex, with the exception of certain immediate family members.
The decision triggered an outcry across Switzerland with Felix Mueri, who heads the parliamentary commission on science, education and culture, insisting that 'shaking hands is part of our culture'.

.

'This is a gesture of respect and good manners,' he told the 20Minuten news site.
Christoph Eymann, who heads the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education, meanwhile said that 'such exceptions to the rules are not the solution'.
'We cannot tolerate that women in the public service are treated differently from men,' he told Swiss television.
Christine Akeret, in charge of the Therwil school system, told media she was not satisfied with the decision, but had not seen any other option.
'It is difficult when someone refuses to adopt our way of life,' she said, complaining that she had not received any support from the surrounding canton when she had raised the problem with the authorities there.
Basel-Country canton authorities, who have the power to overturn the Therwil decision, did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Ghost town Sharm El Sheikh: Once bustling resort is almost deserted as terror attacks keep thousands of tourists away

article-3523510-32DB7F6500000578-758_964x388.jpg
The Egyptian resort on the Red Sea is still suffering after the downing of a Russian holiday jet. The number of tourists visiting last month has almost halved compared to the same time last year. A welcoming sign (bottom right) belies the reality of empty swimming pools (top left) and abandoned hotels (top right, bottom left). The UK Foreign Office is still advising against all but essential travel by air to Sharm El Sheikh airport. Travel firms including Thomas Cook have cancelled all bookings to the resort. The average number of nights tourists are spending in the country went down by 67.2 per cent in February this year compared to 2015, from 9.2 to 5.5.

Air France added that the headscarf rule when flying to certain destinations was 'not new' since it had applied before flights to Tehran were stopped and also to crew flying to Saudi Arabia

As long as all the visitors to France from iran are obliged to wear berets and a string of onions around their neck then this is fine. All for respecting local culture as long as it goes both ways.

The air NE has no business making this stipulation on the plane. Dress must be as usual while in the air or on the plane. Of course, when they leave the plan, they have to obey the misogynistic and oppressive laws of a religious dictatorship stuck in the middle ages.

WE, THE STUPID:
Ask any person, not your child between the ages of 18 and 35, if they ever heard of the Nuremburg Trials. 1 in 13 might say they have, but will not be able to tell you "what" was on trial (not who).
Those same people will not be able to tell you the name of the Vice President. 84% of those who receive this will not read it completely, or at all. 10% will but will also chose not to forward it. The remaining 6% will forward it.

The war started in the 7th century and lasted through the 17th century. I would contend it never stopped but historically the facts below are correct.
This is why I choke when I hear someone say we will defeat or contain these Islamic terrorists in a few years or even 30 years as recently stated by Leon Panetta.
If the latest batch of murders, beheadings, and killing of innocent Christians has shocked you, maybe you should read this compilation of historical facts about the hatred of Muslims.
This is factually (and historically) correct – and verifiable: In 732 A.D. the Muslim Army, which was moving on Paris, was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.
In 1571 A.D. the Muslim Army/Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.
In 1683 A.D. the Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.
This has been going on for 1,400 years and half of the politicians don't even know it.
If these battles had not been won, we might be speaking Arabic and Christianity could be non-existent; Judaism certainly would not exist.
Reflecting: A lot of Americans have become so insulated from reality that they imagine that America can suffer defeat without any inconvenience to themselves. Pause a moment and reflect back.
These events are actual events from history. They really happened. Do you remember?
47 years since 1968 and this just keeps going on and on.
1. In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.
2. In 1972, at the Munich Olympics, Israeli athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.
3. In 1972, a Pan Am 747 was hijacked and eventually diverted to Cairo where a fuse was lit on final approach. Shortly after landing it was blown up by Muslim males.
4. In 1973, a Pan Am 707 was destroyed in Rome, with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.
5. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.
6. During the 1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.
7. In 1983, the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.
8. In 1985, the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70-year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.
9. In 1985, TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens, and a US Navy diver trying to rescue passengers was murdered by Muslim males.
10. In 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim males.
11. In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.
12. In 1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.
13. On 9/11/01, four airliners were hijacked; two were used as missiles to take down the World Trade Centers and of the remaining two, one crashed into the US Pentagon and the other was diverted and crashed by the passengers. Thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.
14. In 2002, the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.
15. In 2002, reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by - you guessed it - a Muslim male. (Plus two other American journalists who were just recently beheaded).
16. In 2013, the Boston Marathon Bombing resulted in 4 Innocent people, (including a child) being killed and 264 people injured by Muslim males.
No Obama, Hillary or Kerry I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people.
So, ask yourself "Just how stupid are we the people?"
Absolutely No Profiling! They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the Obama's security detail, 85-year-old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, BUT...leave Muslim Males alone lest we be guilty of profiling.
Ask yourself, "Just how stupid are we?" Have the American people completely lost their minds or just their Power of Reason?
Let 's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Alred's and other stupid attorneys, along with Federal Justices, that want to thwart common sense, feel ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense.
As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid Is As Stupid Does." So keep voting for the same group of politicians over and over and expect them to change or wise up and VOTE TRUMP!
Each opportunity that you have to send this to a friend or media outlet... Do It! OR JUST SIT BACK, KEEP GRIPING, AND DO NOTHING

[h=1]Pakistani Textbooks Teach Children That Christians Are ‘Nefarious, Violent, and Tyrannical by Nature’[/h] 1101

[h=2]A new study on textbooks used in Pakistan’s public schools found “deeply troubling content” in the representation of Christians and other minority religions as fundamentally inferior and less trustworthy than Muslims.[/h] The comprehensive report, Teaching Intolerance in Pakistan: Religious Bias in Public School Textbooks, found that the textbooks are used to confer “public shaming” on Christians and other minorities, indoctrinating schoolchildren with a pro-Muslim prejudice from the earliest ages.
“Public shaming begins at a very young age,” the report found, and the Pakistani curriculum teaches that religious minorities, particularly Christians and Hindus, are “nefarious, violent, and tyrannical by nature.”
Pakistani public school textbooks reach over 41 million children and negatively portray religious minorities as outsiders, unpatriotic, and inferior, which helps explain the alarming state of religious freedom in Pakistan today.
The study, released on Tuesday, was sponsored by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and conducted by the Pakistan-based Peace and Education Foundation (PEF), a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting peace and tolerance in Pakistan.
“Pakistan’s public school textbooks contain deeply troubling content that portrays non-Muslim citizens as outsiders, unpatriotic, and inferior; are filled with errors; and present widely-disputed historical ‘facts’ as settled history,” said Robert George, the USCIRF chairman.
“Missing from these textbooks are any references to the rights of religious minorities and their positive contributions to Pakistan’s development,” he added.
The report found that “the public school system is still fundamentally intolerant of religious minorities,” noting that Christian children are taught that “Christians learned tolerance and kind-heartedness from Muslims.”
The report’s findings are especially worrisome in the face of recent examples of violent anti-Christian persecution in Pakistan.
On Easter Sunday, an Islamist suicide bomber blew himself up in a park in Lahore, Pakistan, killing more than 70 children and adults.
The faction of the Pakistani Taliban that took credit for the Easter-Day massacre stated that the attack was religiously motivated and was specifically targeting Christians.
Despite negative attention from the international community, Pakistani’s textbooks have actually gotten worse in the last five years rather than better, the study revealed. “The trend toward a more biased curriculum towards religious minorities is accelerating,” the report states. “These grossly generalized and stereotypical portrayals of religious minority communities signal that they are untrustworthy, religiously inferior, and ideologically scheming and intolerant.”
In its 2015 report, the independent, bipartisan U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom stated that “Pakistan represents one of the worst situations in the world for religious freedom for countries not currently designated by the U.S. government as ‘countries of particular concern.’”
Noting that Pakistan’s “repressive blasphemy laws” continue to “violate religious freedoms and to foster a climate of impunity,” the USCIRF has repeatedly recommended to the State Department that Pakistan be designated a “country of particular concern,” a move it has been pushing since 2002.
Nonetheless, for political reasons, the U.S. State Department has doggedly refused to place Pakistan on its list of Countries of Particular Concern (CPC), despite its status as one of the worst violators of religious freedom in the world.
The State Department has acknowledged a “general failure” on the part of the Pakistani government “to investigate, arrest, or prosecute those responsible for religious freedom abuses,” and that this dereliction of duty “promoted an environment of impunity that fostered intolerance and acts of violence.”
The 1998 International Religious Freedom Act calls for the president to make CPC designations annually for countries that have “engaged in or tolerated particularly severe violations of religious freedom.” The Act also calls for the president to take various actions against such countries.
