Your "fact checkers" weren't on the scene, so it didn't happen.

Got it.
There was no scene where Thousands of people in a US city were marching in support of the attack on the WTC, or when the towers fell. PERIOD. Anyone who says they saw such a scene, and cannot present proof of it is LYING. Because it did not happen, much like POTUS Fred Thompson never happened, not even candidate Fred Thompson happened. Much like The Big Universe shattering Info about Obama's Birthplace never happened. Because there was no such info, (ANOTHER Trump Lie) there was no such scene in any US City, there Was No POTUS Thompson. You and your ilk make up shit, and hope it sticks. It does among the insane crazies, that's why they're insane crazies.

[h=1]Revealed: Three British women are exposed as ISIS supporters who are spreading extremist ideology in Britain and encouraging young girls to join the jihadists in Syria[/h]
  • Undercover investigation exposes three British women as ISIS supporters
  • Trio are seen promoting the terrorist group's ideology and glorifying jihadis
  • They also encourage impressionable young girls in UK to join ISIS in Syria
  • Identified as Umm Saalihah, Umm L and Umm Usmaan in Channel 4 report

.

A group of British women have been exposed as ISIS sympathisers who are promoting extremist ideology in the UK and encouraging 'impressionable young girls' to travel to Syria.
Their behaviour came to light following a 12-month undercover investigation which saw a team of Muslim reporters infiltrate the group's inner circle.
The three ISIS supporters are seen glorifying jihadis, telling young Muslim women that Britain is waging war against them and using racially abusive language to describe Jews and Israelis.
In a trailer for a documentary that aired on Monday one is heard saying 'We do not submit to the law of any country, any nation' while Syria is promoted on Twitter as 'the best of Allah's lands on earth'.

It followed a 12-month investigation which saw a team of reporters infiltrate the group's inner circle. Three ISIS supporters, including one going by the name Umm L (left), are heard glorifying jihadis in the footage (right)

.

ISIS: The British Women Supporters Unveiled was shown on Channel 4 this evening. It uncovered extremist ideology being spread both online and in person to women and 'impressionable young girls', often in front of very young children.
The investigation was brought to a close a month before the terrorist attacks in Paris when one of the female ISIS supporters became suspicious of an undercover reporter.
The trio identify themselves as Umm Saalihah, Umm L and Umm Usmaan on Twitter. Two operate in positions of authority within their circles and lecture women in secretive study sessions, the programme makers said.

.

All three were tracked down after promoting pro-ISIS ideology on social media platforms.
An undercover reporter was able to meet them after extensive direct messaging on Twitter and by making contacts at a demonstration outside Regents Park Mosque.
She is seen coming face-to-face with the British ISIS supporters at an Islamic roadshow on Lewisham High Street in London.
After gaining their trust, the reporter is granted access to closely-guarded women-only study sessions which are strictly by invitation only.
In the two-hour lectures, female Islamic State sympathisers are heard spreading ISIS's extremist ideology and encouraging people to abandon democracy and join the terrorist group in Syria.

.

In one study session in East London, Umm L is heard saying that what the government calls extremism is simply being a good Muslim.
Identified as a mother-of-four named Rubana, who lives in the capital, she adds: 'The vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values including democracy, that places every single Muslim in the category of extremist you know why?
'Because the statement “Lá iláha illallah” [there is no god but Allah] that statement that makes you Muslim, that is a rejection of democracy and the rule of law. Because that statement says la – you reject all other any ruling any legislation, you’re rejecting to obey anything other than Allah.'

.

Preaching to the women and teenagers in the room, she goes on to say: 'These people who plot and they plan against the Muslims they are no match for Allah, they may be making all these plans in the corridors of Whitehall, in 10 Downing Street and in the White House and wherever they may be, but the same thing has happened time and time again do you think anyone ever defeated Allah.
'It’s not the first time nations have plotted against the believers. It’s not the first time the alliance has been formed like they have now with this coalition against the Khilafah [Islamic State]. But Allah one by one he will destroy them.
'The good days have already begun, nobody ever have thought in our lifetime we would see the establishment of the Khilafah [Islamic State]. The thing is the more they plot, the more they plan, Allah has got his own plan, remember that don’t ever lose hope.
'There is a plan of Allah, that we can’t see unfolding already, very soon we will be seeing. It doesn’t matter how many bombs they drop on innocent men, women and children. It doesn’t matter that there’s Russian intervention, you know, all the enemies they can come together.
'Allah will not allow them, Ummah and the progress and the spread of Islam, Allah will not allow them to be quelled. David can say what he likes.'
She goes on to criticise the UK government's counter extremism plan, saying 'more and more people are becoming what they call radicalised' rather than deradicalised.
Umm L adds: 'If extremism is to have a voice or actions against British values and democracy, they couldn’t have done anything worse than what they have done, because this is really changing the way Muslims feel in this country.'
Umm Saalihah, a mother in her 30s, was in charge for a session at a local government-funded community centre in North London.
In the undercover footage she attacks the US-led coalition for bombing ISIS, telling an audience of women and children: 'Not like the cowards that you have who are throwing air strikes on to the Khilafah [Islamic State] and killing innocent people, you know, they are cowards because they will never come down and show their boots on the ground.'

Waheed Ahmed (pictured) and eight relatives, including a one-year-old, were picked up by Turkish police who feared they planned to join the Islamic State terror group. He is now walking the streets of Rochdale in the UK

Umm Saalihah also praises hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed, who has been banned from Britain and is now in jail in Lebanon, and speaks of her admiration for jihadi fighters.
The reporter was ultimately challenged by Umm L, who prevented her from leaving one of the lectures unless she allowed the group to look through her possessions.
Eventually the reporter was able to leave but was banned from future contact and attending any more sessions.
After viewing the undercover footage, counter-terrorism expert Hannah Stuart said: 'The fact that there are women, young girls and children is particularly worrying in terms of what these children are being taught to believe about their own state versus one of the most brutal terrorist organisations.
'At the moment we’re not just concerned about young men going to fight for Islamic State, we are concerned about entire families leaving this country to emigrate and live in Islamic State, and it’s lessons like this that will encourage women to do that and make them believe that it’s their religious duty to do so.'

.

Around 700 Britons are thought to have travelled to join ISIS, including teenage girls, while about 450 have returned to the UK.
Police say the returnees pose a significant threat yet only a handful have been prosecuted. Instead they are being referred to the Government’s Prevent strategy which aims to deradicalise extremists and change their thinking.
Yesterday it emerged that a suspected extremist is walking Britain’s streets despite being arrested on the Syrian border in September.
Waheed Ahmed, 21, and eight relatives, including a one-year-old, were picked up by Turkish police who feared they planned to join the Islamic State terror group.
They were all deported and Ahmed, a student whose father is a Labour councillor, is now a regular sight in Rochdale. He is one of a number of suspected extremists released without charge in Britain after being stopped at the Syrian border.
Meanwhile, a poll has revealed that one in five British Muslims has sympathy for those who have travelled to Syria to join ISIS.
More than 5 per cent have 'a lot' of sympathy with young Muslims who leave the UK to join the fighting, with another 14.5 per cent having 'some' sympathy.
Among women, a quarter had at least some sympathy, the Survation poll conducted for The Sun revealed.

.

[h=3]WHAT IS KNOWN ABOUT THE THREE BRITISH FEMALE ISIS SUPPORTERS[/h]Umm Saalihah is a mother in her 30s whose real name is believed to be Jamila.
The Channel 4-commissioned investigation found she lived at the same address in London as a well-known extremist who has previously been arrested on suspicion of encouraging terrorism. He is shown in the documentary calling for David Cameron to go to hell at a public demonstration.
Umm Saalihah is also heard praising hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed - banned from Britain and now in jail in Lebanon.
Umm Usmaan says in the undercover footage that she is a career adviser, living in London. She is a regular at Islamic roadshows calling for Muslims to reject democracy and the rule of law.
On Twitter, she calls for Muslims to travel to Syria and go and work for ISIS.
Umm L is Rubana, a mother-of-four living in London. In 2003 Rubana said she was in charge of the female wing of the banned terrorist group once known as al Muhajiroun.
The subject of one of her lectures was 'the West’s alleged war on Islam'.

[h=1]IAF jets bomb Hamas targets in central Gaza Strip, army says[/h]

The Israeli military announced late Monday that its air force had struck targets in the central Gaza Strip in retribution for Palestinian rocket fire earlier in the day.

According to the IDF, the air force attacked a number of installations in central Gaza belonging to Hamas' military infrastructure.

"The IDF views Hamas as being the party responsible for what takes place in the Gaza Strip," the army said in a statement.

A rocket launched from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel's Eshkol Regional Council Monday morning, the IDF confirmed.

No injuries or damage were reported in the incident. Red alert sirens were not activated, as the projectile exploded in open territory.

Last Tuesday, residents in the south were on edge after the Iron Dome missile system fired an interceptor missile at what it thought was an incoming rocket.

Apparently there was no rocket, although residents of the South did hear an explosion, which is believed to have been the interceptor.

Previous to today's launch, the last confirmed rocket to be fired into Israel was on October 26th, when a rocket exploded in the vicinity of the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council, also causing no casualties or damage.

[h=1]'Limit the number of migrants allowed to enter Germany,' Jewish leader tells Merkel[/h]

The leader of Germany's Jewish community is calling on Chancellor Angela Merkel to impose limitations on the number of migrants being granted asylum in the country.

In an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt, Josef Schuster, the president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, said that quotas are necessary in light of the fact that many of the million refugees expected to arrive in Germany this year "come from cultures where the hatred of Jews and intolerance is an integral part."

“Many refugees are fleeing the terror of the Islamic State and want to live in peace and freedom, but at the same time they come from cultures in which hate towards Jews and intolerance are fixed components," he said. "Don’t only think about the Jews, think about equal rights for women and the treatment of homosexuals.”

Merkel faced pressure from her own conservatives on Monday to change course on her open-door refugee policy after an affront by the leader of her Bavarian allies drove up tensions in her ruling coalition.

Roughly a million refugees and migrants fleeing war and deprivation in the Middle East, Africa and Asia are expected to arrive in Germany this year alone - the majority of those reaching Europe - and local authorities are struggling to cope.

Horst Seehofer, the leader of the Bavarian sister party to Merkel's conservatives, embarrassed the chancellor by openly criticizing her on Friday for failing to put a formal cap on the number of refugees entering Germany.

Seehofer's Christian Social Union (CSU) is the Bavarian sister party of Merkel's Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Together they form "The Union" but on refugee policy they have been anything but united.

Those tensions began spreading to the CDU on Monday, with senior officials warning that the government must change tack.

"Everyone in the Union knows that we can't hold out many more weeks if every day up to 10,000 refugees and migrants come into the country," Jens Spahn, a member of the CDU party executive, told the Passauer Neuen Presse newspaper.

Senior CDU member Reiner Haseloff, premier of the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt, joined Seehofer's call to limit numbers of refugees, saying Berlin and the federal states should jointly agree on a "formal cap that takes our capacity into account".

"We then have to actively communicate this number to the refugee countries and tell them if need be: More is not possible," Haseloff told Handelsblatt newspaper in an interview to be published on Tuesday.

Saxony-Anhalt is among the three states holding elections in March. Baden-Wuerttemberg and Rhineland Palatinate also vote. The state elections could prove decisive in determining whether Merkel runs for a fourth term in 2017 or hands the baton to someone else after a 12-year run as chancellor.

Another senior official from the CDU said privately that if Merkel did not manage to reduce the number of refugee arrivals before her party's congress in early December, she could expect a lukewarm reception.

Still, Merkel was greeted by fellow lawmakers with standing ovations lasting several minutes at a meeting of the conservative parliamentary group, participants said.

The refugee influx shows no immediate sign of waning. A spokesman for Germany's federal police said almost 180,000 refugees had entered the country - Europe's biggest and most vibrant economy - since the beginning of November.

Divisions between Merkel's conservatives and the center-left Social Democrats (SPD) over benefits for refugees prompted coalition leaders to cancel a special cabinet meeting planned for Monday at which they had hoped to agree measures to speed up the processing of asylum seekers.

An Iranian University student has created a new mobile software application available for download free of charge entitled "Israel's Nightmare" to give ordinary people easy access to information regarding Iranian missile capabilities, according to a report by Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.

ShowImage.ashx

The new software educates users about Iran's long range and short range missile capabilities with specific details and photographs listed for specific weapons.

"This android application can be accessed free of charge and I do not seek any financial gains by designing this software," the app's creator, Arshia Badi, said.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard revealed in October an underground bunker in which it stores long-range ballistic missiles, Fars News Agency reported.

Footage of the underground missile bunker was aired on Iranian state television. According toFars, a number of ballistic missiles were shown in the underground tunnel including a model with a range of 2,000 kilometers.

ShowImage.ashx

Fars quoted Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guard's aerospace branch, as saying that the missiles represented the next generation of Iranian long-range missile technology.

The missile bunker shown is one of many that are buried as deep as "500 meters below the high mountains," Fars reported.

Also in October, Iran state television showed what it said was a successful launch of the new Iranian missile, named Emad, which appears to be Tehran's first precision-guided weapon with the range to strike its regional enemy Israel.

ShowImage.ashx

A total of 220 of Iran's 290 lawmakers praised the missile test, announcing their full support of measures that "strengthen Iran's defense capabilities."

The US State Department said that the missile test was an apparent violation of a UN Security Council resolution and Washington will raise it at the United Nations.

[h=1]Teenage Islamist 'poster girl' who fled Austria to join ISIS 'is beaten to death by the terror group after trying to escape from Syria'[/h]
  • Samra Kesinovic, 17, and Sabina Selimovic, 16 ,disappeared in April 2014
  • They appeared on social networking sites brandishing Kalashnikov rifles
  • UN said one girl, believed to be Sabina was killed last December in fighting
  • Now reports suggest Samra was found trying to flee Raqqa and killed

A teenage Austrian girl who fled to Syria along with her friend is believed to have been beaten to death after being caught trying to flee the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa.
Samra Kesinovic, 17, and her friend Sabina Selimovic became 'poster girls' for ISIS after they arrived in Syria in April 2014.
A number of Austrian newspapers have reported that Samra has been beaten to death for attempting to leave Raqqa, although official government sources are refusing to comment on individual cases.

According to The Local, one newspaper quotes a Tunisian woman who lived with Samra and Sabina in Raqqa.
The Tunisian woman, who was not named in the report, said she was able to escape from ISIS.
Earlier this year, a United Nations official says one of the two Austrian girls who fled their middle class homes in Vienna earlier this year to fight in Syria has definitely died in the conflict.

They first went to the Turkish capital Ankara by plane, and then on into the southern Turkish region of Adana. After that, their tracks were lost.
But they appeared on social networking sites branding Kalashnikov rifles and surrounded by armed men - photos which Austrian police said acted as recruitment posters for young girls.
David Scharia, a senior Israeli expert of the United Nations Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTED) said: 'We received information just recently about two 15-year-old girls, of Bosnian origin, who left Austria, where they had been living in recent years; and everyone, the families and the intelligence services of the two countries, is looking for them.
He added: 'Both were recruited by Islamic State. One was killed in the fighting in Syria, the other has disappeared.'
His confirmation comes three months after the Austrian government said it had informed both sets of parents of the girls that one of them might have been killed.

It is believed both Samra and Sabina married ISIS terrorists soon after they arrived in Syria from Turkey

An Islamic preacher from Bosnia living in Vienna, Mirsad O., known by the Islamic name of 'Ebu Tejma', was allegedly responsible for the radicalization of the two young girls. Authorities say he brainwashed them into joining the jihad. He denies this.
Mirsad O. was arrested for his role in an alleged terrorist funding network based in Austria in November.
It is believed both Samra and Sabina married IS fighters soon after arriving in Syria. The two couples initially lived in the same room but the 15-year-old has reportedly now moved out to a different flat.
Speaking by SMS messages to French weekly Paris Match, Sabina denied claims she was pregnant and insisted she was enjoying life in Syria, where she felt free to practise her religion in a way that she did not in Austria.

The magazine did manage to confirm the teenager had only been allowed to speak to them with the permission of her husband, who was in the room as she wrote her answers.
She said after arriving to Turkey from Austria they crossed over the border into Syria on foot. They ended up in the city of Raqqa, she said, after arriving in the country with nothing other than the clothes they were wearing.
Sabina said her husband was a soldier and added: 'Here I can really be free. I can practice my religion. I couldn't do that in Vienna.'

As many as 130 people from Austria are now believed to be fighting as jihadists abroad. Experts say at least half of them originally come from the Caucasus region of Russia and were granted asylum in Austria after the bloody Chechen war.
Austrian Interior Ministry spokesman Alexander Marakovits said they were noticing an increasing problem with youngsters wanting to leave the country to fight in the ranks of ISIS.
He said: 'If we can catch them before they leave we have the chance to work with their parents and other institutions to bring the youngsters out of the sphere of influence that prompted them to act in this way the first place.
'Once they have left the country, even if they then changed their minds, it is then almost impossible to get them back.

Was it worth it ya cumb little dunts?

I don't remember a single girl I went to HS with being nearly this stupid.

Not only are you a slave but in Islam when a fighter dies in battle all his wives are now considered impure. They are cast out of the tribe, shunned. Most of the time they are used as cum dumpsters before the shunning though. Death is shortly thereafter, through violence, starvation or the elements. Such a waste.

[h=1]'Severe blow': Al Qaeda suicide bomber takes out leadership of key ISIS brigade[/h]By Paul Alster

Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade chief Abu Ali al-Baridi was one of the ISIS-linked fighters killed in the Nov. 15 attack. (Lebanon Now)

HAIFA, Israel – A recent suicide bombing in southern Syria shows the rivalry between Al Qaeda and ISIS is more than just a contest to see who can kill the most infidels -- the groups are using classic terror techniques on each other.
The Nov. 15 bombing came at a top-level meeting of the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade, a key ISIS militia known for its bloody and vicious hold over parts of the Golan Heights. Six of the group’s top men were killed, including Muhammad "Abu Ali" al-Baridi, the shadowy head of the group who went by the nickname “The Uncle.”
Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, quickly took credit, gloating on Twitter about the “heroic” attack.
“The Islamic State [ISIS], that controls the closest area to the Israel border in the Syrian Golan Heights, suffered a severe blow and lost its entire top command in the area in one fell swoop,” noted Alex Fishman, a veteran military correspondent for Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot.
"ISIS ... suffered a severe blow and lost its entire top command in the area in one fell swoop.”
- Alex Fishman, Yediot Aharonot
While ISIS and Al Nusra fight common enemies as well as each other north of Damascus, the two terror groups are in an all-out war south of the capital, along the Israeli border. It is in that part of the hugely complex Syrian conflict where the bitter infighting between the Sunni Muslim terrorist groups is most deadly and direct.
ISIS has largely captured the international spotlight from Al Qaeda, the group from which it sprang, with mass executions, gruesome beheadings and even the apparent use of chemical weapons. But while the black-clad killers have sown fear across the globe, the organization behind the infamous 9/11, 7/7, and countless other major atrocities, is not surrendering its longtime perch atop the terror heap.
Word of the suicide bombing trickled out slowly, in part because the world’s eyes were on Paris, where an ISIS attack left 130 dead on Nov. 13. Regional Arab media first indicated that ISIS in Syria received the stunning blow in the Golan Heights village of Jamleh. When news got out about the death of the terrorist known as “The Uncle,” who earlier this year posted a video on social media pledging his allegiance to ISIS, the devastating blow to ISIS was revealed.
[h=2]Related Image[/h] Expand / Contract
As Al Qaeda and ISIS proxy groups fight for control of the Golan Heights, Israel is mindful that fighting could spill over its border.

“We heard the sound of a strong explosion coming from the former Baath Party headquarters in the village,” Abu al-Ezzam, a Jamleh resident, told Syria Direct. “We ran to the place, and there were body parts scattered everywhere.” Al-Ezzam added that the village was “known as a meeting place for [the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade] leadership.”
“Nusra Front also called on ISIS fighters, who number about 2,000 and who have acquired a large arsenal of weapons including tanks seized from Syrian army garrisons in the border area, to surrender themselves,” reported Lebanon’s Daily Star.
In a defiant statement released on social media, the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade responded, “The martyrdom of the leaders will only make us more determined. Blood and sacrifice is welcome for God’s sake.”
Regional experts suggest the successful suicide mission against such a significant affiliate shows a degree of on-the-ground vulnerability on the part of ISIS. They say it could be interpreted as justification for those who argue that only ‘boots on the ground’ can truly deal a crushing blow to ISIS, whose reported underground hiding places ensure that while they will suffer casualties from airstrikes carried out by the U.S., France and others, such tactics are unlikely to deal them a mortal blow.
Israel has so far observed as the Islamists and supporters of the rival Syrian regime slug it across the border. But sources told FoxNews.com Israeli officials know there is always the potential that ISIS, Al Nusra, or, most likely Lebanon-based Iranian proxy Hezbollah, could turn their attention to engineering a conflict with the Jewish state.
“ISIS' recent failures equal its successes,” said Fishman. “On one hand -- the terror attacks in Paris, the bombing of the Russian plane in the Sinai, the bombing in the heart of Beirut and several achievements on the Aleppo-Damascus route. On the other hand, a retreat in Iraq under pressure [from] the Iraqi military, the Kurds, and the Shiite militia.
“It is not unlikely that the deadly attack that took out the Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade's leadership in the area was actually a sign marking the end of ISIS control of the Golan,” he said.

A SHOCKING video has emerged online which allegedly shows a Syrian rebel group as they gleefully chant “Allahu Akabar” [sic] over the corpse of the Russian pilot killed when Turkish warplanes shot down his plane.
Filmed by rebels in Syria’s Turkman Mountains, the horrifying video shows dozens of men as the discover the bloodied and bruised body of one of the pilots, dressed in Russian military fatigues.
The Russian Sukhoi Su-24 was downed by F16 Fighting Falcon jets belonging to Turkey, after it was warned 10 times in five minutes to leave Turkish airspace.
The sickening footage shows armed Syria-Turkmen rebel soldiers as they cheer and shout “Allahu Akbar” – “God is great” as the man’s lifeless body lies slumped on the ground.
It was said to be filmed by a rebel group operating in an area populated by Turkman – Syrian citizens, but ethnic Turks – and is the target of a current Syrian government offence, where President Bashar al-Assad’s troops are supported by Russian airstrikes.
At the time, two pilots managed to eject from the jet and were seen landing with the help of parachutes.
However the bodies of both pilots have now been recovered by Syrian rebels, who are fighting against al-Assad, according to reports….

Welcome to Muslimville, USA.
The Michigan city of Hamtramck has McDonald's, apple pie and beer — and happens to be the first Muslim-majority city in the U.S.
Once 90 percent Polish, the city of 22,000 now has a Muslim majority in the six-person City Council as well, the Washington Post reported.
“There’s definitely a strong feeling that Muslims are the other,” Hamtramck Mayor Karen Majewski, who is of Polish descent, told the Washington Post. “It’s about culture, what kind of place Hamtramck will become. There’s definitely a fear, and to some degree, I share it.”
LETTING SYRIAN REFUGEES INTO US IS NATIONAL SECURITY RISK

Hamtramck became the first Muslim-majority city in the U.S. two years ago, the newspaper reported. The influx of thousands of people from Yemen, Bangladesh and Bosnia has made some in the city nervous, according to the paper.
Elected officials all across the country have been trying to tackle the delicate issue of refugees in the wake of ISIS' terror attacks in Paris earlier this month.
Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump says he wants to implement a database to track Muslims in the U.S., and Ben Carson has said he wouldconsider religion a probable cause for searches.
At least 31 U.S. governors, including GOP Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder, have taken measures to prevent Syrian refugees from being resettled in their states — even though they lack the legal authority to do so.

In Hamtramck, many are anxious about the changes over the last 10 years. The Polish Catholic population stands at 11 percent, down from 90 percent nearly half a century ago, according to the paper.
“I don’t know why people keep putting religion into politics,” Saad Almasmari, the fourth Muslim elected to the six-person Council, told the newspaper. “When we asked for votes, we didn’t ask what their religion was.”
Some residents in the town have struggled to adjust to the existence of mosques in the community, according to the paper. Businesses close to each of the four mosques can't acquire liquor licenses, Mayor Majewski told the Washington Post.

A crucial turning point came in 2004, according to the paper, when the City Council gave a green light for a mosque to use its speakers to broadcast its call for prayer.
“The Polish people think we were invading them,” Masud Khan, a mosque leader, told the paper. “We were a big threat to their religion and culture. Now their days are gone.”
“It was hard at the beginning,” longtime mail carrier Frank Zacharias told the paper. “They’re human. You gotta live with them. Hamtramck is known for diversity.”
Some residents have complained about the noise the 6 a.m. call to prayer brings.

“I have my own rights, as well,” Susan Dunn, who failed to gain a seat on the City Council, told the paper. “I’m not a hater. It wasn’t a calculated move.
“You try reading a book in your backyard while your dog is barking to that,” she continued.
Some of the city’s black residents are unsure what to think of the City Council's new makeup.
“They are clannish and stick together. ... the jury is out on them,” longtime pastor Wayne Little of the Corinthian Baptist Church told the paper.
“People talk about Muslims by talking about ‘them,' but we’re not going to be as single-minded as people think,” Council member Almasmari told the Post.

Women to be fined up to £6,500 for wearing burkas in Swiss region

The burka will be banned in all public places in Ticino including shops, restaurants and behind the wheel of a car

Wearing a burka or niqab in public has been banned in the Swiss region of Ticino, with offenders facing a fine of up to £6,500.The region's parliament approved the law on Monday, which will ban full-face veils, worn by women in many Muslim countries, in the wake of heightened terrorist alerts across Europe, Swiss news site The Local reports.

It is now a criminal offence for women in the Italian-speaking canton in southern Switzerland to cover their faces with the garments in all public places, including shops, restaurants, public buildings and behind the wheel of a car.

No exceptions will be made for tourists, but other forms of face coverings such as masks, balaclavas or crash helmets will still be permitted.

Almost two-thirds of the region's voters supported the ban in a referendum in September 2013 before it was approved by Parliament, Reuters reports.

Islam is further proof that Darwin was wrong about evolution and Bush was wrong about democracy in the middle east.

Women wearing a burqa or niqab in the Swiss region of Ticino will be faced with a fine of up to $9,790, after the government made it illegal to wear the veils in public. Almost two-thirds of the region's voters supported the ban in a 2013 referendum.
The legislation, passed by the cantonal parliament of the Italian-speaking Swiss region on Monday, states that those found wearing the garments will be forced to pay a penalty ranging from 100 francs (US$98) to 10,000 francs ($9,787).
The law makes no exceptions for tourists. People visiting Ticino will be informed at airports and by customs officials at the Italian border that it is unlawful in the canton to hide their face. Forty-thousand people visited Ticino from the Middle East last year.

The Ticino government had wanted the ban on burqas and niqabs to also apply to other head coverings that hide the face, such as masks and balaclavas worn by demonstrators. However, MPs voted for a law that applies only to the wearing of Muslim veils, the Local reported.
Special security measures were put in place for the parliamentary session dealing with the ban. A metal detection device was temporarily installed to screen people when they entered parliament, according to the ATS news agency.
The ban was supported by two-thirds of the region's voters in a September 2013 referendum. The vote was organized under Switzerland's direct democracy, which allows proposals to be put to the public if enough signatures are collected.
Giorgio Ghiringhelli, who drew up the proposal, said at the time that the move would send a message to “Islamist fundamentalists,” who he claimed were in Ticino and across the country, Reuters reported.
Amnesty International, however, called the results a “black day for human rights in Ticino.”

The Swiss parliament said the ban does not violate federal law, and a parliamentary spokeswoman told AFP that the legislation could go into effect in April.
Ticino's new law is similar to legislation in France, which was the first European country to ban the burqa and all other forms of face covering. The French law was passed in 2010 and went into effect the following year. It was upheld in the European Court of Human Rights in July 2014, and similar laws have since been passed in Belgium and the Netherlands.
There are around 400,000 Muslims in Switzerland, totaling about five percent of the country's population.

All Muslims share the same beliefs and values. The only difference is, some are willing to die for them immediately, while others remain quiet but only until the "political winds shift in their direction" as their numbers increase...
