The one game out of the year I hope dont hit a middle is the Super Bowl

When William "The Fridge" Perry scored a late 1 yard TD during Super Bowl XX in January of 1986 for the Bears against the outmanned Patriots that prop was murder on the books.

And a big reason even a middle wouldn't be a death sentance. Most props now have such horrible payouts no matter what one you pick. Even if the wrong team covers, the books should make out nicely on people betting if there will be a safety or not or an under 30-yard field goal or whatever else they put up

St Louis-Tennessee never moved off 7, looks like this one might be similar. Up to a full two point middle last year, I think

Do you mean when GB beat New England?

I was taking action back then and was really heavy with Packer money.

Thank goodness I listened to the Stardust line leading up to the game as JK or whoever said they were not budging of 14.

Whats good for them was good for me as I a few of my guy's were calling every half hour waiting for that 14.5.

Had fucking N.E. covered that # would of been my biggest game ever.

Still made money on the game as Pats covered 2nd half and won on total also.

Remember it like it was yesterday.

One place you need not worry about being hurt by a middle is Matchbook.
I suppose if it hits a line they don't get their commission (not sure, but I think you only pay commission if it wins).

Only winners get a 2% commission - nobody hangs with MB - not even Pinny in their prime

I rarely pay commissions because I rarely win

I recently was saved by it falling right on the number, was doing some in-game trading and was down about 1k no matter which team covered. Lucky for me the game went into overtime and the favorite won by 3 so I lost nothing. :aktion033:aktion033:aktion033

They wizened up after that since they didn't get any commission, I haven't seen them use -3 as the spread for in-game, they generally leave up either -2.5 or -3.5. Though I've noticed for the playoffs they've been leaving both a whole number and a half number up, I of course play the whole number and hope it lands there so I don't lose anything :103631605
