It's horrible out there right now (although not as bad as during the day).

By this time of year you're just praying for the heat to finally let up.

That and at times you can feel it letting up. The mornings are becoming quite beautiful. In a few weeks, we will be done with it.

Railbird thanks for the input. You give great insight into other sports. You paint pictures well.

Thanks for the compliment

Green doberman,

Name is Travis Rettenmaier currently 230 in world, retired though. Cant afford tour, and has shoulder shot. USTA would not do JACK SQAUT for him $ wise.. Meanwhile gives Donald Young, Abigail Spears, Phillip King and Angela Haynes wildcards out the yingyang.

Whats up my brother and sister late night posters? Are you ready for a big weekend? I am. My big upset selection special is Ball State to beat Purdue straight up. I dont believe in laying double digits in college, but I am taking a 4 team gomers supreme parlay with, Minnesota, Va Tech, Texas, and Northern Illinois. I am calling it my double digit favorite parlay of the year.
What do you think? Of course Hawaii is the late night bailout over UNLV.
Could be the blow out of the day.

Rebels mindset screwed up after Cyclone debacle. Now they go to the islands and all the coach talk is about it ain't a vacation. Usually that means it is. 'Bows will have the family members reffing as usual. UNLV could be in for a "Rocky" performance without signal caller Hinds. Steichen will get a yo-yo endorsement before the season is done.
Methinks this is the time in past where Rebs imploded their season and we'll have to see what Sanford's son can do to change the past.

I hope I'm wrong as I bleed silver and scarlet, but I've seen this movie before.

I think UNLV looks live to me. Rebels aren't off to dreadful start as they have been in recent years and talent looks better so far making me think this could be a productive trip for them. I think the line should be closer to 7.

Does anyone live near LA and ever play at the Commerce Casino??
That place blows, they have one of those shuffling machines at the BJ tables, shuffles every hand, I still don't get how that is fair.
And why do dumbasses their not know how to play BJ, stand on a 13 with the dealer showing a face?? Or hit on a 13 with the dealer showing a 6. Lost my @ss their and a lot of it due to people not knowing how to play. I think I will just wait till the next trip to Vegas and single deck!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but you aren't playing real BJ there at Commerce. You are playing to 22 and you can't bust, although better to be under 22 than over it. Part of the state constitution the game of 21 cannot be played unless you get around it by playing at a tribal casino. I used to chat with the "corporation" player at one of those games and he said odds are with hitting 13 and 14 when dealer has a bust card because if he busts good chance he goes way over. I never played the game so don't know how true this is, but you better make sure of the rules.

I'm just watching CSI Vegas and wishing I was there. Was supposed to leave tomoorow, but that's not going to happen until next month. Sorry Sunset Station. I'll mail you a check! Hate to miss out on those video poker tournaments. Guess I'll have to win more money betting football!

I chickened out on the four teamer, but won a two teamer with Minny and Va Tech, by the hook no less. Ball St made me sweat and Hawaii is bailing me out of my other messes. All in all not a bad day. I am BIG on Cinncy and Carolina Sun. Small on the Giants and Buccs.

Also had a date tonite. I cant believe I went out on a football Saturday.
She is not all that yet.

Well, how did everyone end up this weekend? I broke even myself by my math. I wound up spending over half of my winnings on my dates this weekend. I also bought some concert tickets to a freestyle explosion next Saturday. I can not wait to go, already. Such is the life.
