oilman,

Do you remember trying to body surf in the ocean? Well, I do...

I was just a kid, maybe 10-11 years of age, watching older boys catching these big waves and riding them all the way to the shoreline...

It seemed that whenever I tried to catch the wave, I was just a split second too late...

This went on for weeks, then months, until one day, my TIMING was perfect, so I caught this huge wave which took me ALL the way to the sand and I experienced what would by one of many natural "highs" for me in my life...

Therefore, the moral to the story is if you just keep trying, maybe when you least expect it, your TIMING will be there...

Why would an agent want you to go broke? Then you would no longer be able to play with him and he earns no more commission. An ideal player would be one who loses overall, but wins every once and awhile so keeps on coming back.

I think this subject does not belong on a forum.

The jist of it is that "agency" is illegal & something that really shouldn't be discussed publicly. If you don't know, you probably don't even need to think about it.

How does the agent decide what line to quote the player when the player calls up to get down?

Does he simply look on don best?

Truth well spoken. A smart agent will never increase his exposure by offering unrealistic credit lines. The actual idea is to keep the cash flow, conservative but steady. If a player goes flat broke, that player is as good as dead, financially speaking... and who can make money off of a dead man?

Besides, do not forget guys, agents only give credit to people they trust, like friends. Adn although it's fun to do trash talk back and forth with one of your buddies, it's never fun to get the man in financial trouble.

Betting with an agent is nothing more than illegal bookmaking. That is why the FBI is always busting these offshore books.

The agent does not except bets. A credit player calls or plays on-line just like a post-up player. The agent sets up a players limit, and other restrictions. When the week ends he either pays or collects whatever figure the player ended up at for the week. (Settle figures may carry over for weeks).

you can use a complete stranger from the internet as an agent. Do not even consider it. Think about it, the guy says OK, call this number, and play. You have a 5 dime limit. You win, I will send you that amount Tuesday, if you lose you send me that amount on Tues. Yeah right.
