That was the headline on a recent Daily News page 3 story. According to the travel site TripAdvisor.com, San Diego ranked as the No. 1 city for pizza, with New York City fourth, Philadelphia ninth and Chicago (where pizza is like a meal, not a pizza) not even in the Top 10. So Mighty asked his nephew, a Queens-born pizza lover who now calls San Diego home, “Whatz up with that?”

Brendan Springstubb wrote back: “There is some really good pizza in SD, in fact, there’s a local haunt of ours that serves ONLY pizza. But there’s no special kind of pizza here, the pizzerias are just good at making a good thin-crust — or deep-dish — pizza. As a native New Yorker, I’m legally obligated to say NYC is better — but SD comes close.”

FYI - this Wednesday afternoon I am taking off on a trip into the Sierra Nevada Mtns in north CA to follow my dream of capturing (on film) a Sasquatch OR killing 1 with my 7mm rem mag rifle. I am also carrying a bear and mule deer dag. Deer Season opens in that area Saturday morning so I got 2 days of Squatching before I do some real hunting while keeping an eye out for a Squatch also. ....................... point being, if you want MQ posts then someone else will have to do it starting Thursday AM , I return the following wednesday
