Go back and look at Masters specifically and notice how the top 5 is usually something like
1 Aussie
2 Americans
1 Irish
1 Asian
Or top 10 is usually something like
1 Aussie

1 Spaniard/ S African
It usually ends up like this every major except US open I believe Americans hit the top 10 about 7-1
This is why I tend to build 3 Americans and 1 Aussie 1 Europe 1 Asian/ S Africa guys for majors to try and get winner and rest inside top 10-12
Masters this year is hard due to LIV, Weather and pricing.
Been Trying to work in 2 LIV guys and Aussie and Brit and fading top dogs but Rahm n Rory check the Spain Ireland box. I’d go more Asians if weather and scoring was higher as Asians seem to pop higher scoring tournaments.
Also trying to Find PM/AM and guys who play good mudders and tuff courses. Expect more a -7 to -9 score if delays and weather play the part I imagine.
Good tuff lower score guys with rain bit of wind and some course history at Augusta

Didn’t touch many Asians. Worked in some Big dogs Rory Rahm for Spain Ireland exposure. And some Rose Hatton England guys.

The best weather gap looks like PM guys who go off super early Friday before storms n heavy rain hits around 2.

Brooks Willet Woodland Champ Schwartzel Day May get out best. Avoid the worst and any possible delays. Those 10:30 am guys may get caught in delays but only maybe few holes left
If the storms hit real bad Saturday with predictions then it’s possible PM Friday guys may have to finish RD 2 Saturday mid day Afternoon and cut makers round 3 on Sunday then into Round 4. While leaders and AM Friday guys will maybe jump into RD 3 late Saturday close to normal
2023 Masters Tournament Weather Report
Per The Weather Channel:
Thursday, April 6
This will be the warmest day of the tournament, with temperatures reaching the upper-80s. There is a small chance of scattered storms in the afternoon, but the chance of precipitation remains under 30%. The clouds will persist throughout the day, with winds staying at around 5 MPH.
After Thursday, some poor weather is supposed to move in on Augusta.
Friday, April 7
Rain is expected at Augusta for most of Friday, with a high 80% chance of rain. The chance of thunderstorms and/or heavy rain remains slim, so perhaps the play will go on with some light rain proving to be an annoyance. The temperature is expected in the mid-70s, but a cold front is expected to move in at night.
Saturday, April 8
Moving Day at Augusta is supposed to feature a mix of cold temperatures and rain. Once again, the chance for thunderstorms remains minimal (for now) but the chance of rain is at over 95% for the day. Temperatures are expected to drop to the low-50s with winds at 12-13 MPH.
Sunday, April 9
Sunday is expected to slightly improve from Friday and Saturday. The chance of rain is slightly over 50%, but the rain is expected to move away from Augusta in the afternoon, which could make for a comfortable finish to The Masters. Temperatures are predicted in the low-60s, with winds staying in the 10-15 MPH range.
Monday, April 10 (if needed)
Based on The Masters weather report, we just may need to finish the tournament on Monday for the first time in over 40 years. Luckily, if this is the case, the weather looks just fine. Models have the weather back to to the upper 70s, with just a 30% chance of rain.
The Masters forecast is not ideal for any players or fans in the field, especially not former champion, Jordan Spieth, who admitted that he likes the way Augusta National plays much better when the greens are moving quickly.
“Hopefully we get a firmer, faster Augusta; like it that way,” said Spieth, per CBS Sports. “I’ve played better when it is that way. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be that way. But, you know, if it forces a lot more kind of wedges into the par 5s and some angles because of the cooler temperatures and the moisture in the ground, I can certainly look at that as advantageous to me, too. I’ll just spin it positively however I can.”
Based on the latest 2023 Masters Tournament weather report & forecast, Augusta National will get wet at various points this weekend, and players are likely going to need to adjust their strategies accordingly. As always, the weather predictions are constantly changing, and we will continue to track for any further updates throughout the weekend.

- don't like Cantlay but he was only held back by his putting today yet still sits in 26th. He lost -2.5 strokes on the greens but was 4th in ball striking behind only Koepka, Scheffler, and Rahm who are all in the top 6. He also lost a bit (-0.77) in scrambling but if he keeps hitting like this (+3.87 tee to green, +2.96 approach) he will grab a top 20 as he's done in 2 of the last 4 Masters. Cantlay is 45th on tour in putting this year so today was just an off day. He also teed off late today so gets the early slot tomorrow when weather is expected to be very good with no wind. The afternoon groups will see gusts >20 mph so Cantlay huge advantage to jump into top 10-15 tomorrow.
