back to looking at better-priced runners, results have been choppy but I hang in there. As noted, I am very novice level. This evening I will tail along with you at tracks where my book lets me place bets. Some of these, I have never heard of, which is fine

Maybe you should join the next one , you would be extremely competitive from what I see .

I appreciate the kind words. I feel good when I have time in the early morning to really dig through the PP's, check videos of past races, etc. Other times, when i am rushed, I make bad decisions. But work and family and life push me and rob me of time!!
