He has played well this year and was flirting with a G.A. of less than 2.00 until he let in five against the Oilers. I will also say that he is really happy in Toronto-(Quinn loves him) and his infamous drinking and troublemaking days are over!!!

16-1 to win the Cup!!! Get in on it!!!

The Hurricanes blew into town and Leafs were up to the task of disposing of them 4-3. They peppered Weekes with 47 shots and he was the difference between a close game on paper and a blowout. It was also nice to get some revenge from last year as the hurricanes dumped the Leafs in the final.

The Caps went down in flames 6-2 as the Leaf juggernaut rolled through Washington last night.

Hows this for a line?

Gary Roberts
Alek Mogilny
Mats Sundin

Roberts scored twice and said afterwards with these 2 guys feeding him the puck a blind chimp could score--(well, he didnt say it--Im saying it!!)

Tonight the Leafs blow into Montreal and resume one of the most storied rivalries of all time. The Habs are life and death to make the playoffs and the Leafs are looking to set a club record with 8 consecutive road victories.

Well..it had to happen--just like a great racehorce throws in the odd clunker, the Leafs got pummelled by the lowly Predators 5-2.
An interesting side note to this contest was that the Leafs had zero power play opportunities as opposed to the Predators ten.
Factor in that they had to leave Montreal in the morning cause of the storm and it spells UPSET!!!

Big game for Leafs tonight as they hope to shake off the embarassing loss to the Predators on Sunday.

Will Tucker and Peca continue their feud???
Will the noisiest fans in North America propel the surprising Islanders to victory???

Naaaaa.....

Yikes--my boys are currently on a 2 game losing skid--panic button time for the lesser fans!!!
Tough couple of games coming up for them including a monster against Vancouver--

the leafs need to hire a coach who doesnt condone the dirty (stupid?) play. he was same way when he played. one of these days they are going to put a guy in a wheelchair...and i guarantee that in first round the young refs (most of whom should be in minors) will be going crazy trying to convince the league that they deserve to be there and will be calling everything. imagine how nasty a flyer/leaf first round will be?

Put a guy in a wheelchair? Hahah... of their actions last night, which do you think would've put someone on a wheelchair? Domi trying to slug it out with Arvedson? Or Tucker, who went on a suicide mission by going over to the Senators bench? Neither one strikes me as ones that would put their adversaries in wheelchairs...probably the other way around.

SPeaking of wheelchairs, I'd think what Alfredsson was about to do to Domi would've put Domi out of service, let alone paralyze him.

Did you see the cheap shot swing Alfredsson was going to lay on Domi with the stick? Get the NHL to review that shit.

Bobby

I have never been a big fan of either Domi or Tucker.

The sad reality is that these guys are necessary in this brutal sport to even out the playing field--if there are no enforcers the intimidation factor tips the scales too high in one teams favor.

Tuckers move was a bonehead play and Domi was responding to a cheap shot to the nuts that any red blooded swinging dick would have responded to.

My boys are currently in a mini slump---but Saturday night against Vancouver watch for them to rebound with the addition of Owen Nolan.
