earlier in the game they called a draw play that had bc totally caught but harris ran into his own guys back trying to hit the hole. they are rolling so they open the playbook i guess and try and beat bc's spirit more than anything. they make a 2nd and 10 with a run play that hurts.

gonna be 34 - 24 in a sec here. that kamau catch is the tsn turning point so far.

Was waiting for the weather reports coming closer to kick off to decide what to do. Montreal has gone into their last 3 games winning at halftime and really if AC did not injure his hand against Calgary, they should have won. They gave the game away to Sask in the final minutes and same thing in BC. Hamilton is a mess and Montreal coming home should do the same as we seen in week #1. Rain seems to have cleared up but it is suppose to rain again later this evening 50% chance.

Official Play:

Montreal 1st half -5.5 (20 units)

Montreal & Calgary Moneylines -133 (80 units)

1st leg down and now all I need is Calgary to win straight up and it is a great month. Speaking of Calgary, Sask is gonna start Crandell who has not played since week #1 and will be without his top two receivers he ran reps with in training camp, Flick and Fantuz. Dressler sounds like he will be limited and probably won't play now you add their top lineman in Chick out and their top DB is either out or playing at 50% in Johnson. Calgary is the toughest place to play in the league and Burris is a complete different animal at home. I honestly think this game is gonna be a Calgary blowout and it all starts in the 1st half. Got enough riding on the game already so this is side action.

Official Play:

1st half Calgary -3 (20 units)

i was LOVING the analysis and then stumbled on the toughest place to play is calgary part,

have you been to taylor field ? dont want to be confrontational but taylor field is the best place in the cfl for a game.

half the atmosphere at mcmahon on rider gameday is RIDER fans haha.

i agree calgary wins, but not because of thier fans. because of their superior personal this week. they seem to get on offensive rolls at home ( ala edmonton tonight ) and they cant be stopped. chick and johnson hurt being out.

riders win the rematch. even on a thursday night taylor field will be nuts baby.

i love your thread kingdom i can tell you respect and watch alot of cfl.

p.s. i stuck up for you and timetopay this week but havent seen that wicked pick yet haha. i like winnipeg tomorrow, call me crazy haha.

peace.

I would like to weigh in on "toughest place to play" comment.
You could look at it in one of two ways. I think Calgary being a tough place to play as a statement to how different the Stamps play at home compared to on the road. In the last 3 years or so Calgary has been a middle of the pack CFL team overall, but the difference between wins and losses at home, and margin of victory at home and away, must be staggering. I would like to see what the stats actually are, but without researching, I would guess that the Stamps have the biggest difference in the league, or at least close to the biggest. The "toughest place to play" arguement I think speaks to how crappy this team can be on the road and conversly, how good this middle of the pack team can look at McMahon. Now that the Calgary has a new coaching staff, and are on the verge of breaking out of the CFL pack and back to an elite squad McMahon has to be considered the toughest play to play, or at the very least one of the toughest places to play.
Now, Casey, I think you were talking about environment. And that is something different all together. Many places could make this claim, including Taylor (mosaic) field when the team has a winning record. I have no doubt that the Riders have that place going crazy right now, but like Calgary, and I'm sure most every CFL city, I've seen that stadium dead and empty to start the fourth quarter when the riders are down by 21 and the team is in last place.
Calgary, maybe more than any other canadian city, has people from all over Canada, and seemingly especially from Saskachewan. Without hyperbole I would say that 30 % of Saturdays sold out crowd will be supporting Sask. and that will make for a pretty wild atmosphere.

Yes, Calgary is the toughest team to play on the road. Not just fans and atmosphere. Sask was beaten by Montreal at home and Edmonton did hang with them until they melted. Toronto self destructed winning by 8 going into half then the big fumble on the punt that turned around the game. All of Calgary's games so far at home were not even close. I think the trend continues and when they do play in Sask, I think it will be a battle til the end.

FYI: The monster play was posted, we have 8K each on the moneyline parlay with Montreal and Calgary. If Calgary wins straight up, we both make 8 grand. I think we will be on opposite sides in the Toronto game.
