Sick to my stomach. This may be their lowest scoring 1st half ever in history. This game has me wanting to retire and not give back any more of the books money. I am absolutely sick to my stomach. Dropped TD passes, SJ can't do anything against a bad defense. I don't know what more to say.
Well I don't think SJ will give up so early and how many more stops can actually happen in this game. I think the Cats will try some onside kicks to get them back into this tilt and the offense will get some things going. Gonna take a stab at the 2nd half:

Only lean is the under. Don't like the game side or total but if I was forced to bet, I would take the under.
This SJ/Orl game is by far the most frustrating game I have bet on. Three dropped TD's for Orlando, SJ fumbles a ball going into the end zone, SJ getting stopped on a 1st and goal from the 3 yard line and a SJ TD gets called back on a hold. That is 42 points left on the table and to make matters worse, I think the total will be 7-14 points away from going over with all of these points left on the table. Anyway, glad my 2nd half bet could pad the losing night to put a band aid on the wound. Lets see what happens next week.
KC... that's the AFL. It's easy to point out these little things that could've happened... but there was NO WAY that that game should've gone over the total last night. 28 pts for the Predators on defense and special teams is incredibly lucky... the argument could easily be made that the final score of this game should've been in the 60s or the 70s, not where it ended up.
And the Orlando defense isn't BAD by any means. They've improved week after week, and I'd consider them one of the top few units in the AFL right now.

I've said many times that you will suffer more bad beats/get more lucky wins in the AFL in one month that you will in the NFL for an entire year (not that SJ-ORL going under was a bad beat/lucky win; that game never had a shot at going over).
You just hope the bad beats and lucky wins even out and then you should be in good shape, as any sharp AFL bettor should be able to win consistently over time against the lines that the not-as-sharp bookmakers put out.

Well I think in any sport there are bad beats and lucky ones. Guru the way the game played out, it was bound to to under but no way on earth you could have anticipated San Jose scoring 7 points in the first half. Gotten over this beat the same night it happened. The 2nd half was an easy winner with the over and Utah helped pad the blow. Ended up laying more lumber on the Blaze at -3 but I feel like I am coming off IR with the long lay off. Taking the time off I feel like I lost my swagger a little bit but still up a good sum for the season and cannot have a losing season.
Funny thing is I go 3-2 and will take a small loss in the accounting category. Next week is right around the corner. :toast:

Even the greatest cappers in the world for this league (which I'm convinced we're all amongst those on here) will go through just insane streaks of no luck in this league.
Seriously probably 60 out of 100 wagers you make on this league you can justify and claim would've been a winner if not for (fill in the blank).
Last night was a perfect example. Tampa Bay had NO BUSINESS covering that game. The fact that they scored last really did it, and depending on what number you got and when you got in, you got either really lucky or really unfortunate with the timing of that missed PAT in the end by the Storm.

A score with 1:40 left in the half (which is TOTALLY random, by the way) can produce an extra 28 pts in a half that shouldn't be there. The number of games I've seen that went into the 1:00 warning of the first half 17-14 and ended up at HT 34-28 is ridiculous. Dead nuts under games just destroyed by the teams trying their best to get the ball back late on in games.
It truly was a herculean effort by the Preds defense last night, which really marks the 4th time or so this season that they've had such a feat.

Sometimes, you just look at a card and scratch your head. There really isn't anything that just ridiculously stands out to me this week. I mean MAYBE New York, MAYBE Georgia... just isn't a friendly card this week. You can look at my thoughts for shits and giggles though.

i need your help badly. its damn sad when ive had over in the sabercats two times,back to back.the played utah,and the game goes over in the first half,just to see the game go under.i go back on the sabercats to get the over with la.ive never seen the saber cats kick so many field goals instead of touh downs,both teams had touch downs called back.they get the over by a country mile in the first half ,just to see la not score shit. iam also leaning towards the new york over.i dont know if aron garcia will play,if he does i will play the over.i will not bet over if davey playes.i love arena football,but my only two complaints,are they have the worse referes ,and they dont know how to call a game.i wish fox reginal sports would show more games on there.dallas uset to play on 416,but i havent seen one game on there this year.i could listen to them on the radio,but its not the same as watching them.how good does the game look on arena football.net?
