Exactly. They have the opportunity to knock the team they are most concerned with out of the playoffs. You can forget about the G-Men coming out flat. I cant remember the last time the G-men came out flat in two consecutive NFC East matchups.

Both RB's wont be 100%. Edge in depth-----Giants.

Dallas @ Pitt had a 17 TV rating. That regular season game right there had twice the viewers of an NBA finals or world series game.

The league wants Dallas in the playoffs.

The league also wants to the Giants to suffer for their horrible VA tide water white trash wide receiver who embarassed himself and gave the league another black eye.

The league also wants the Giants to lose, so that next week's game with the Panthers will be the big game with all the marbles on the line for the playoffs.

I'm sorry but none of those futures hold any value, especially not Dallas or Indy. Just four or five weeks ago Baltimore was 33-1, now look at them. Indy should be closer to 14-1 and I wouldn't take Dallas at 30-1, let alone 13-1.

You are better off saving the money and putting it on the team each round of the playoffs, adding on the winnings from the previous bet.

Gentlemen, let's clarify something here. If Carolna wins at home against the Broncos (which is most likely) the game against the Cowboys for all intentional purpose means nothing for the Giants. With a Carolina win and a Giant loss, both teams are tied for the best record in the NFC. If the Giants beat Carolina next week at Giants stadium they would have a one game lead and the tie breaker based on head-to-head competition. If the Giants win this weekend and they lose to Carolina next week, then they would both have the same records and the Panthers would have the tie breaker based on head-to-head. The only thing that counts this weekend is whether or not the Panthers win their game. A Panther loss to the Broncos would help the Giants as a win against the Cowboys would give them a two game edge going into next weekend's game. A Carolina win makes the Giants game this weekend useless as no matter what the Giants do they will still have to win their big showdown next week against Carolina. That's all there is to this. So if Carolina wins at 1pm, I would expect the Cowboys to win and cover against the Giants Sunday evening. Only a Carolina loss will give the Giants an incentive to beat the Cowboys. And please don't tell me about the rivalry and all that other nonsense. The Giants goal is to get the home field throughout the playoffs. That's it in black and white ! I understand the whole theory about the Giants being distracted because of the Burress situation. But what about the fact that the best team in the NFL is coming off a bad loss and going head to head with a hated division rival? You don't think a team of the Giants' calibre will be out for blood after stinking it up last week?

This is a very tough one to call, but if I had to choose one side I'd go with NY. I'm also interested to see how Marion Barber performs (assuming he plays) after Jerry Jones called him out.
