I know you love Rafa and I do to.
But I think it’s time to put all this GOAT talk to rest .

Not only is he the GOAT of men’s tennis

But you can make the case he’s dominating his sport to a level we have rarely if ever seen in any sport
You're right Rafa is my favorite men's tennis player. His chances don't look good for a comeback, but I'm still hoping... To be fair, I have to recognize Djoker as the current Goat, and at this point looks like he's going to just add to his lead before it's all over. Kudos to him, he also does it with class.

And if it wasn't for the BS Vax rules he'd most likely have a few more during Covid...

Rafa has already said next year will be his last and I highly doubt he plays anywhere close to a full season. Maybe a tune up clay tourney and RG if he gets lucky.

Novak will win I presume at lest 4 more majors. The major totals won't be close. Hell he could be winning majors in his 40s with his conditioning and this current crop.

Federer losing in 2019 was quite the swing.(in any form of GOAT debate)Could have 21 and said he beat Novak and Nadal in his last 2 major finals played.

Novak is just without question now---to me at least.

Novak Djokovic is the new men’s Grand Slam leader after beating Casper Ruud at the 2023 French Open. Djokovic lost the first three games of the match, but dominated the rest of the way en route to his third career title at Roland Garros and his 23rd overall Grand Slam title.

Djokovic will now head to the All England Lawn & Tennis Club as the favorite to win Wimbledon. DraftKings Sportsbook opened odds for Wimbledon earlier this year, and following the French Open, Djokovic is a -125 favorite to win the tournament. Carlos Alcaraz follows at +330 an Daniil Medvedev is +650.

Halfway through the Grand Slam calendar, Djokovic has won the Australian and French Open titles and has a realistic shot at the calendar slam. He’s an overwhelming favorite at Wimbledon, and a solid +140 favorite at the US Open at the end of the summer.

Djokovic has already claimed the non-calendar Grand Slam in his career. He now could become the first singles player since Steffi Graf to win the calendar Slam.

Taylor Fritz currently has the best odds among American players to win at Wimbledon. He’s installed at +2800. Ben Shelton, Brandon Nakashima, Tommy Paul, and Jeffrey John Wolf all follow at +5000.

Going into next year's Aussie open Joker will have twice as many weeks at number one than Nadal!!! Unbelievable, but I'd still take prime Borg over Joker. More dominate career, albiet a short one. Played full time only until the age of 24. No player matches what he did up to the age of 24. Remember too, he won all his slams on fast grass and slow clay. The changing/slowing of the grass at Wimbledon aided these current players. Best winning percentage (minus wood racket comeback lol) more weeks at number one and slams (despite only playing in the Aussie open once as a 17 year old kid) up to the age of 24.
