Damar Hamlin (-140)
Buffalo Bills safety
Damar Hamlin was involved in one of the scariest incidents in the history of the NFL back on January 2, when he suffered cardiac arrest during a Week 17 primetime game in Cincinnati.
Following a tackle on Bengals' wide receiver Tee Higgins, Hamlin suddenly collapsed and laid motionless on the field for minutes while doctors rushed to his aide. The game was eventually postponed as Hamlin was transported to a local hospital, where he spent an entire week before being flown to Buffalo for further testing.
Hamlin was luckily able to successfully recover, taking part in padded practice for the Bills during training camp and even appearing in all three preseason games for Buffalo. The 25-year-old safety was named to Buffalo's 53-man roster ahead of Week 1 but has played in just five regular season contests.
Joe Flacco (+100)
The
Cleveland Browns have been dealing with a revolving door of quarterbacks this season, but they've certainly found their guy — at least for now.
Joe Flacco has been absolutely lights out despite his age (38), throwing for more than 1,600 yards and 13 touchdowns in five starts, including 300+ yards in four of those.
That spark led the Browns to four straight wins with "Joe Cool" under center. As a result, Flacco's odds have been chopped from +1,200 (after Week 15) to +400 (after Week 16) to +100 in less than three weeks, moving him into the No. 2 spot.
Baker Mayfield (+1,200)
Despite appearing on two different teams last season,
Baker Mayfield found his footing as the starting QB for the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The former first-overall pick finished with a passer rating of 94.6 for a Bucs team that finished atop the NFC South at 9-8. Mayfield is just three weeks removed from his best start of the season in Week 15 against Green Bay, completing 22/28 passes for 381 yards and 4 TDs without turning the ball over.
