I was watching the Islanders score on the NHL website while the game was in progress. According to the site the game went final at 3-2. An hour-plus later I learn that it went onto OT and the Isles lost. How in the hell does the league site show a score as final when it isn't? Haven't seen that happen before.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was in the pool hall & was scoreboard watching on my Ipad with the app. It showed a 3-2 final & when I log into one of my outs, it showed that I had lost. I went back & saw the score.
