thats fine, I wasn't sure. I have no problem if you were a tout or are a tout. I didn't know that. I was just asking. Good luck on that 32-17 run, I mean 33-15 now.

187, don't put words in my mouth... If I post a play and it loses,,, I lose money.. Losing always concerns me..

Falcon

I believe 187Sports is asking if you're concerned if any of your followers lose money on your posted plays. His tone implies you're selfish, callous and uncaring
if anyone here at the Rx (or those looking in) loses money on your plays. He's intimating you only care if you lose your money on a losing play.

Surely, that's not the case. When one has generated the massive following you have here at the Rx, there's certainly going to be some empathy/sympathy from
the leader towards his followers if his posted plays lose. I'm hopeful 187Sports is aware of this natural occurrence.

That's exactly what I was implying and am aware of this natural occurrence. He's a computer programmer, so I'm sure he'll figure it out. Right Falconi?

This is like watching 'real housewives of Beverly hill'. Some if you guys are acting like 14y old girls.
Who cares if incubus is stating the obvious with the end of plays report? I for one am not taking any offence to it.
This is Falcons thread and has asked to keep all the bullshit out. Have some respect and abide by his rules.

Falcon, I stumbled upon your thread when you were around 2 weeks into it and have been quietly tailing you from then and with a few comments here and there. You have made me a tonne of money and are aware that we all do have bad patches in this type of business. I'm sure there are guys out there like me, who are staying out of the crap and thank you for the great ride we have been on. Keep doing your thing. That steak is right around the corner.

Incubus, yes losing concerns me but its part of this business.. I never say much about it..

I really feel I need to change direction of this thread.. I am always leery of the drawdown but u can't let things get away from you.. If u go back in the thread.. U will notice the great start,,, then u will see a big regression to about the 50% mark,,,, then u will see another run to the upside, now we are in a downturn... Its the ebb and flow of this business.. I've been around longer than most, I've been thru these things before..

But I am going to make a few changes..

Change is good, whether you replace your computer or make adjustments, whatever it takes to get your most loyal followers(vicshap) back on the plus side is what matters. (<)<

I don't get some of the stupidity in this thread, how can you blame someone for your bankroll being down. YOU choose to follow falcon so it's your fault, pick your own plays or follow someone else if your going to complain. No one forcing you to follow him. Keep grinding falcon just have to get out the slump.

sometimes i think the only way to make money at this is to book it. the discipline it takes is close to impossible.

you need a big bankroll, and utmost patience and discipline. the books know the last two are rare qualities indeed.

Why make a change. Stick with the system. Playoffs all sports can't really use regular season stats. Different ball game

Why do you sign every post with "Falcon"? Is it meant to convey a sense of mystery and bad ass coolness? You said you've been in sports betting since the '80's, that would make you at least over 50 yrs old, at that age, it seems kinda weird to do that sorta thing, no? Oh sorry, am I cluttering?

This is just plain dumb. I'm 74 and maybe I should start signing all my posts THESANDMAN. Weird?? Why??. The only important thing about my age is I have been able to win enough to keep playing and even have some left over to spend. This will probally get me flamed, but reading some of the posts here, I would be surprised if the people here who trash talk the most, are smart enough to win enough to be able to keep playing when they are 48, let alone 74.

My feelings toward Falcon would be the same, win or lose. He wrote a program projecting outcomes of sporting events. He has shown that it works over a long period of time. Will it win every day, or even every week. No way. It will win at 57% long term, just as he said it would, but as we are seeing now it will go thru a losing period now and then. This has nothing to do with how good or how bad his program is. It's just means a change to lower the long term winning percentage to the 57% Falcon said we should all expect. If anyone here isn't happy winning 57% of their plays, then good luck trying to find a place where you can win more.

I do however have a problem with how Incubus sees his role. He did offer to keep records of how well or poorly Falcons plays are doing and Falcon agreed to have his post that info in this thread. And yes, I do read and appreciate the win and lose numbers and percentages he is posting. What I do not like is Incubus seeing his role as talking down to us and telling us, as a group, how to bet. We know this is a long term project. We know or have been told many times to use money management and saying Falcon needs a new computer is stupid or I'm missing the the point of that statement.

AND how does Habsburger know this isn't Falcon's signature Falcon. Or is it?

It's a 1968 Ford Falcon. It's also 48 years old, the same as Falcon.

You can call my post clutter, but I only post a couple times a month and my goal here is just to keep anyone posting winners from leaving here because of the clutter and crying. Like some of you, I have been here a long time and have seen lots of guys who helped make us money just up and leave because they were tired of hearing trash talk toward them. How would you feel if Falcon suddenly felt the need to stop posting here and just left.

RXers are not sheep. If you follow blind, do that and reap what you sew. If you follow or fade according to past performance, do that and reap what you sew. If you cap your own games and check for agreement, do that and reap what you sew. Win or lose, I love this thread. Seeing anyone stick to it and make a profit this long (and longer to come) is just incredible. And I told myself I would stop saying this, but "have faith" -- in whatever you do within the previously mentioned scenarios. Know that "You're closer that you think."

This thread has so much value for so many reasons, and I hope it continues for a long long time.

Most things in life are about jumping in and getting out and knowing when to persevere. Funny thing is, no one can tell you when to do what. So I say again - do what you do, and believe you will win.

I quote the character Arnold Epstein in Neil Simon's "Biloxi Blues" -- "You're a witness. You're always standing around watching what's happening, scribbling in your book what other people do. You have to get in the middle of it. You have to take sides. Make a contribution to the fight. Any fight. The one you believe in."
