Just can't seem to catch that break when I need it as evidenced by Maryland on Saturday and along with it my 30 dimer goes down.
Quite frankly when I handicapped the game I just didn't factor in the Terrapins going 5 of 22 from behind the arc and with those bricks so goes their chance for the big dance.
I also didn't handicap my +24 underdog in Tulane trailing 47-43 with just under 9 minutes to go only to score 4 points the rest of the way getting outscored 27-4 to end the game.
I did handicap winners on Texas A&M and Auburn but you just know it's not your day when a Division One basketball team can't score one basket, not one the last 9 minutes of a basketball game. Unreal. Just unreal.
So the 4-1 Friday for +23.5 dimes is nullified by the 2-3 Saturday so the only thing to do now is rally on Sunday like it's nobody's business.
It starts with a winning Sunday. That is exactly where it starts. Nothing more and nothing less.

Let's take them on the final day ofthe season, as they would earn the No. 4 seed by beating Virginia Techtoday, while a loss could drop the Seminoles to sixth. And even thoughI know the Hokies need this win in order to even be considered for thepostseason, this is a manageable number to achieve at home. ToneyDouglas' floater on Feb. 21 gave the 24th-ranked Seminoles the 67-65win over Va Tech the lasttime they met, and the Hokies roll in offback-to-back losses to Duke and North Carolina. That's not exactly theway you want to come in to a must-win game. The Hokies are too beat upby now, the Noles will roll.
