The D isn't focused at all...I worried about this game all week because I couldn't find the motivation to play their best with the big games the next 2 weeks against the loudmouth Ravens (JM!) and Duce and the Peelers. Plus there wasn't a TV or radio outlet in the city that didn't say all the Birds had to do was show up and they would win.

LOL if they lose this game Hache I will be PISSED. Going for it on 4th and 1 on your own side of the 50. What made them think that was a good idea considering how poorly the D has played? Now the Browns have a short field.

Hache our Run D has never been good all these years. I don't think they've ever been top 10 in stopping the run and when they get up against a team that can ground out the yards they struggle. The blitz packages get thrown out because the Birds get wrapped up in stopping the run and that opens up some deep shots against our corners. The D Line has too many pass rushers and not enough run stoppers..even our LB's are fast but not as strong as they need to be.

Not much you can do about it here though...Simon is good but we don't have that Ted Washington type that we could really use up front.

Sport, Tampa hasn't had that big run-stopper through these years of dominating on defense either. I think the only weak spot Philly has had in the past few years up until now was at linebacker, where Tampa's always made up with speed and talent to discount the lack of run-stopping linemen.......

Our LB's aren't that bad...they do get their hands up and are good at dropping back. They're quick...Trotter, Wayne...Dhani Jones was a nice addition. Simoneau bothers me sometimes...he gets bowled over once in awhile. They need to be better at getting off their blocks. The D Line is so slow though...it's killing me this year. I know I'm complaining about a 5-0 team but it's nothing that can't be fixed in practice IMO.
