About the time our article appeared, the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) published a multi‐author article on ivermectin’s effects on COVID patients in Brazil. The authors conducted a large‐scale trial known as TOGETHER that looked at both ivermectin and the antidepressant fluvoxamine as possible treatments, and they concluded that ivermectin is not useful against the disease.

as noted in #1524 above I'm equally disgusted and in awe. the saul alinsky playbook of win by all means is tough not to be impressed with, but a gene that conservatives lack.
i fully expected them to blame this on 1) a bunch of smart kids that were over their heads and 2) need for crypto regulation but I never expected them to blast out "give me another $50B to launder before I'm arrested"
