not in college basketball, men's or women's, not in football, not in hockey, not in soccer, not in lacrosse, not in any sport the country actually watches
he might as well call Army a football powerhouse
Happens nearly every year. Why these tv commentators are so high on the Big 12 every year is puzzling to me. They do very little to warrant it other than maybe pull off a couple early season out of conference games that don't really mean much in the big picture. Most teams are much different in December than they are in March. Just because a conference is competitive with each other, doesn't mean they are competitive with others. But these commentators make that a selling point every year. If you go by the real meat and potatoes of conference strength, which is recruiting, the Big 12 shouldn't be anywhere close to the top. With the exception of Kansas..Big 12 shitting the bed again with overrated teams..
LOL. Nobody watches fucking women's basketball. LMFAO
Only parts of the country watches hockey. Nobody south or west of the cold weather states gives a rat's ass about hockey. And lacrosse isn't even a real sport.
Turn off the volume..he's going no where..
What conference is kicking ass ?
you guys do understand that every time a team loses a first round game it doesn't mean the conference sucks, right? SEC had 3/3 tourney teams make final 16 in 2014 but they still absolutely blow at basketball, except UK of course
when 5 of 7 teams lose, all with better seeds, that's the epitome of overrated
and one of the two wins is a 1 over a 16, that almost doesn't count
if they were 9 or 10 or 12 seeds, that would be different
and the Vegas lines tell you the conference was overrated by the committee
FWIW, I like OR, I like their athleticism

Ya, I agree that the PAC12 was overrated and overseeded but to say "when 5 of 7 teams lose, all with better seeds, that's the epitome of overrated" is a comment I'd expect from Skip Bayless not a distinguished basketball fan like yourself. Cal lost 2 starters (one being their leading scorer) this week. Oregon State was playing without their second leading scorer. Colorado and USC may have pissed away games (looking awful doing so) but a couple of 8 seeds losing one possession games to 9 seeds is to be expected. 8-9 matchups should be coin flips. Arizona, on the other hand, was pathetic.
I'll throw you a curve ball Willie. What if Oregon wins the entire thing. What would be your perception of the conference then?
