Laying huge juice for little money is pure insanity.

For a guy with thoughtful and detailed write-ups, the wagers are just plain awful.

The Over was an extremely fortunate outcome too. That game had Under written all over it.

Why would someone risk 240 for 20 bucks?

Money management is the key to making a profit. But I think you were looking to post a great winning percentage on your prop plays and didnt really care about the money. That's what touts do.

Broncos WILL Score in Both Halves - $240 for $20
Yes, you read right - an absurd -1200 bet. I look at it this way: A free $20. The only concern with this bet was the weather and potential precipitation, but since it looks like the weather will be more-than-manageable without any precipitation, then that means this bet looks safe; all they have to do is score once in each half! Let me rephrase that: The greatest offense in the illustrious and storied history of professional football, at least statistically, just has to score one time in the first half and one time in the second half - at the very conclusion of a year where they set the single-season record for most points scored. Listen, I never take these type of bets, and I know some people will inevitably complain, “Are you kidding me? And you’re going to put that on your record?” but I say this: Whatever. It’s the Super Bowl. It’s a free $20 that I’d like to have for some of these other bets, and you can be sure I’ll be adding at least a few more props leading up to Sunday.

Well you hit the nail on the head with your absurb bet. The no safety bet was almost as bad.

Someday you will learn that buying points, laying comical juice, etc will make you a losing player in the long run.

this reminds me of the time when I took Roger Federer at -900 against a smuck in the first round. Thought it was an easy 100. No such thing and never will I bet odds higher than -130 against me.

For some reason CatsO/U keeps forgetting to add his -$290 performance (which literally included a win at -110 on the coin toss) in last year's playoffs to his header. I verified all of his 2012-13 season bets, but aside from the Super Bowl I cannot vouch for this season's record.

2012-13 preseason: 3-0 (100%), +$495
2012-13 regular season: 136-106-8 (55.74%), +$127
2012-13 postseason: 15-13 (53.57%), -$290
2012-13 TOTAL: +$332

2013-14 preseason + regular season: 119-98-7 (54.8%), -$418
2013-14 postseason: 12-10-1 (54.5%), -$84
2013-14 TOTAL: -$502

Thanks for bumping this. Can't believe that -1200 bet. Haha. Crazy. At least he came back like a man to update his record. Oh wait.....
