It was an olive branch to you. Since you have no credibility here , no one to vouch for you here , was giving you an opportunity to get that. I actually figured underneath that facade you put out , you probably were an ok guy...Also , a decent amount of people didn't think you actually were in Vegas...So what better way then send out an invitation..
