Well, he did crush Seattle (31-0 at halftime, 24 from the offense, numbers for game look pedestrian but they just did nothing 2nd half) and AZ 49-15 (totally dominated) to get to the superbowl. Two pretty good defenses.

Struggled against the Broncos but so did Brady and Big Ben a few weeks earlier.

It wasn't sustainable but I do think he deserved MVP that year. No one else really had a banner year.
