not too many guys like Rashaan Evans around but every team in the AFC North should get one. Titans did pretty much exactly what the Steelers did to him in October which is putting a super athletic ILB (Bush) spying him and make him read a defense (ha ha ha). He'll resort to throwing at the other team or taking off and grabbing yards on the ground. and ex-LB like Vrabel used Evans like the Steelers used BushIn all seriousness, the Titans' defensive scheme is going to be copied and used against him next year
Then we'll see how he can adapt
That young man in Baltimore made massive improvements from year one to year two and I admit, I never saw it coming. After some of those games at the end of the year last year to include the playoff game against the Chargers, I saw a QB that although physically talented, was very inaccurate and confused at times and I didn't see him improving at all. I thought he was the most talented athlete on the field but not an NFL QB. He proved during the regular season, he can play the position. Congrats to Mob for believing in him. I didn't see it. Congrats to Lamar and I look forward to seeing him next year and beyond. I, for one, don't see him getting injured with his run game. He avoids contact pretty well.
Onto the game yesterday, I just don't think that offense will work in the playoffs against good defenses. Not necessarily Lamar's fault...he's doing what he can within the offense but I was pretty consistent in this thread in believing I don't think they'll ever win the big games with Lamar running this offense. Can he run a traditional offense? I guess that remains to be seen and why we watch the game huh? Anyway, congrats on him winning the MVP award and let's not take away from a great regular season for the Ravens. It was fun to watch no matter what happened yesterday.
The accusations we are racist because we didn't think Lamar would be successful in the NFL at QB are just asinine and we all know it. We've got to get past the constant KKK/racist accusations here. Its just non-productive IMO.
VD - J Clowney has never been accused of being a dirty player. His hit on Wentz was a bang bang play and what happened is just unfortunate. The guy didn't mean to hurt him IMO. The Eagles weren't winning that game with Wentz and his QBs activated off the street corner. I still believe Wentz is an average NFL QB. Injured all the time but not his fault etc.
All that to say, go Seahawks. I heard half the GB offensive line is sick today.
The internet is the only domain where you can be fucked in your ass in front of the world and still keep talking
No way, don't even believe he is in Vegas
I have often said it gives a voice to people who otherwise have no voice (and I'm not addressing anyone in particular here, just stating a truism)
Saw this on twitter and thought of this thread.
First playoff wins for a few QBs. Lamar will be just fine, especially if Greg stays put awhile.
