Well he did put on an extra 10 lbs in the offseason. I was well aware of that. But to call him a runningback, you know you are intentionally disrespecting the man. You not fooling anybody. He’s 200x a better passer than Tebow, and you guys were in love with Tebow. Tebowmania.
Some of the plays he had against the Seahawks, no running back could ever do. Not Barry Sanders, not Walter Payton, not anyone. Maybe Vick in his athletic prime. But even Vick wasn’t a great passer to start. And ended up having some pretty damn good passing games with the eagles.
Is Lamar a great passer yet? No. But, not many in the NFL are lmfao. That’s just fact. If you are comparing everybody to Tom Brady’s ability to get yards through the air, then you’re retarded.
He makes plays through the air and on the ground. My biggest concern coming into the season was fumbles and putting more arc on the ball and letting his WRs run underneath his passes. He has improved in both of those categories for me without question. He hasn’t perfected his passing, he’s going to get better but don’t take my word for it. Listen to Enflameo.... He’s never wrong about assessing talent.
And it almost looks effortless for Lamar honestly. The run where he started to take off against a corner blitz who was in a full out sprint and Lamar our ran him.... nobody is doing that. Nobody in the history of the sport. He also chucked it about 50 yards for a throw in the bread basket to Boykin. Then his tight ends dropped 4 passes. Lamar carries this offense.
