Watson, cam newton, Russell Wilson, pat mahomes, these guys are elite.

Watson and Newton are the only two Blacks there. You can use Mahomes and Russell as White and say that White QBs dominate the league.

Using Profootballoutsiders metrics White QBs dominate. Watson is ranked 10th and he's the first all Black.

I'm a UNC fan and hate Russell Wilson (NCST), but I don't see how anyone in their right mind doesn't consider him elite. The guy is one of the best and has been for a while. I'd label him a runner too. He may not run 4.4, but he's as slippery as a greased pig when he pulls it down and takes off.

And he is definitely on pace to be elected to the HOF when it's said and done.

It seems like every 5 years or so there is a new crop of talented young black running QB's who are black QB's who are going to take over the league. Then when you look back 5 years later maybe one is left still a starter and rest have flamed out in one way or another.

Russell Wilson is the real deal for sure but I consider him a notch below the elite. Rogers and Brady are at the elite level, I guess throw in Bree's maybe as well but that is about it. If you add anyone else you are watering down the term "elite" You can't have 20% of anything being elite.

True black QBs that are successful in the NFL are very rare. Mahones is damn good but he and many others are mixed race.
Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rothlesberger, Rivers, et al are superior pocket passers which is the way to win in the NFL.
More and more white parents are not letting their sons play football.
They are wise.
The head injury evidence is overwhelming, the lawyers will eventually win, and football as we know it will be gone.
Mike Ditka said on an ESPN special that if he had an 8 year old son, he would not let him play football.
