THe sad thing is not that a virus is sweeping through our population taking out millions of people. But that the government has reacted like that's exactly what is happening.

The government is making policy that chooses winners and losers.

I feel for ya, IMISSREMEMBER. Lots of little businessmen (and their employees and suppliers) are being kneecapped by the government, not the virus, while others flourish or feel no effect whatsoever.

The virus is not the problem. The government reaction to the virus is the problem.

As a small business owner who has not been effected, I feel anguish for fellow small business owners who the government is strangling without remorse.

Good luck, man. I hope you make it.

Target, Amazon, Walmart. etc are all setting profit and sales records during this planneddemic. I hope they have to pay a certain tax from benefiting from the monopolized situation. I point to these managers who knowingly stocked 30 packs of TP and 6 packs of kleenex, boosting sales, now all you find is 4packs of tp, and singles of kleenex. We are business owners in Illinois and we have to pay 16K in taxes but have not had a fighting chance.

A lot of small business owners are getting hurt, and that's what bothers me most

I should add its taxes on a property or a house that the business was suppose to be run out of, 3rd year of business were we could Of paid this %300 Newly accessed increase in taxes, all trade shows, home shows were we make a nice profit were all cancelled, customers are not spending, not showing up compared to last couple years, No help with ppp loans as our credit sucks ass getting this business going , denied there. Pretty jealous of those retail numbers, I know those Store managers are going tO get some great bonuses. Going to need to hit the superfecta at the derby to pay for that tax bill Tizzy’s the Law and all.all all, lol.
