He was closer to 7 lengths behind and in last place the entire backside. Then went 7-8 wide on the turn. He was far from being close up. Rewatch the race.

I saw the race and I read the chart. Even 7 lengths is not very far behind. I don't care, charlie. Just posting my observations in the hope that they may be helpful to someone.
