Guys love/hate just about any type of girl; thin, fat short, tall, oval faces, round faces, big lips, small lips, etc etc. In general, i don't like really white skin, short girls, young looking girls, squinty eyes and skinny girls. It was at a Thai restaurant so that was as close as they could get to Laotian. They did have some sticky rice but it wasn't sweet like the sticky rice I usually get in Thai restaurants. They had Pad Thai and Nam Kao Tod which was a bit spicy but was really good (sour sausage, green onion, chili, ginger, peanuts, crispy rice and lime juice).
We can pretend that many Asian women look like her, but we all know that is total bullshit. She represents the .001% of Asian women that are attractive. Just like we can beat around the bush and say that white rbs are successful in football because we have Alstott.
