Here you go again with baseless allegations and lies...meanwhile ACORN is trying to steal the election in Wisconsin again enabling election workers to make false voter registrations.

I highly doubt that.

look it up.

No thanks...if you are too lazy to provide proof for your own statements, it only adds to the reasons for doubt. :103631605

These are the words of someone who is either a liar or completely clueless.

...meanwhile ACORN is trying to steal the election in Wisconsin again enabling election workers to make false voter registrations.

I suspect this statement is one that falls into the category of "baseless allegations and lies". Considering the source, it's practically a certainty.

City refers 32 more to DA for voter fraud

Milwaukee's election chief turned 32 more voter registration workers in to the district attorney's office for possible prosecution today, after they tried to submit falsified registration cards.

That brings to 39 the number of registration workers under scrutiny, and the number could grow, said Election Commission Executive Director Sue Edman. An organization warned the commission staff late this afternoon about some questionable cards in the latest batch collected by its workers, Edman said.

All of the workers targeted for investigation were paid employees of two liberal groups running voter registration drives, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and the Community Voters Project.

In many cases, the groups have said they caught the fraud and fired the workers before handing the cards over to the commission. The groups also have said the problems represent a small fraction of the tens of thousands of cards collected by hundreds of workers.

But in a presidential election year, the incidents have revived partisan debate over Wisconsin's voter registration rules and over the question of whether requiring photo identification for voters would prevent fraud or suppress turnout.

Of the 32 ACORN workers referred today to Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf, Edman said:

17 apparently filled out applications and then signed the cards themselves. That involved two to four cards in each case.

12 submitted cards for individuals who later told ACORN that they never filled out an application. That involved one card in each case.

One submitted a card for a dead voter. That was the second such case; a voters project worker previously submitted a card for a deceased voter.

One was apparently making up driver's license numbers for an unknown number of voters.

One submitted about a half-dozen applications for voters who already were registered.

With today's action, Edman has now referred 35 ACORN workers to Landgraf. She also has referred one worker from the voters project and one whose employer is unknown, and she plans to refer two more from the voters project.

But more workers from the voters project will come under scrutiny because the group identified problems with a handful of the 7,500 cards it turned in today, Edman said. http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=8/20/2008&id=45089

If Mccain picks Romney, it will help him with two swing states... Michigan and Nevada ( Mormon population).

otherwise
MI = Osama
FL = Mccain
Penn = Osama
Virginia = Mccain

I think Colorado will be super super super close. I think Ohio is key also.

First I want to apologize to D2bets for having to put up with this nonsense in his thread. I hope this is the end of it. My initial post that spurred this dishonest ass to reply was meant to be informtive and constructive. It is also the truth and can be backed up. The evidence has been presented elsewhere.

As for MR_MJ, or whatever his username is, it's really unbelievable the levels of dishonesty he will stoop to. I've always condemned the action of temp workers hired off the streets taking shortcuts by filling out false registrations themselves in order to justify their paycheck. It would be my hope that there wouldn't be people that took it upon themselves to do that. The actions of these temp workers is obviously motivated by money and no desire to skew an election.

This is what occured in 2004 during voter registration drives and MR_MJ has attempted to link this to evidence that ACORN is out to steal elections. I believe someone has to be a complete numbskull to buy that argument.

Apparently, given the date on the article, this is still occuring. However, as is stated in the posted article, when it occurs, ACORN fires the temp workers, takes the false registrations and turns them and the fired temp workers over to the authorities. How is that consistent with an effort to steal elections? The forms get turned over to the election officials as evidence of a felony, not in effort to sneak them by and get the names on the voter rolls so someone else could show up and vote using the false registration. Even if they tried to do that, the registrations get flagged and caught before they ever get fully processed.

I've also condemned MR_MJ for his flat out dishonesty when discussing this matter. He gets exposed time and again and still tries to fool others. Somehow MR_MJ wants to fool everyone else again and claim that something more sinister is at play(read the article carefully). Anyone that takes a minute to figure out the logistics involved to steal an election this way would realize how preposterous and inefficient it is. Nonetheless MR_MJ wants to play everyone for fools. If he ever changes his username again, I suggest it be "Dishonest Asshole".

LOL...I simply changed my username spelling for my own convenience logging in. Wilheim did it for me, upon my request.

No conspiracy there.

As for ACORN...you really have to be dimwitted or a bald faced liar to suggest that ACORN is somehow innocent of the continuous attempts to subvert fair elections and dishonest voter registration.

Sure...ACORN puts up a big front when caught...like its not their fault and they are cooperating.

And then they go and do it again....and again....and again.

What about all the illegal registrations that were not caught?

Thats the problem...most slip through without being caught.

But cut shorty supports vote fraud. Thats the only way to look at it.

[Sorry D2bets. This is the last post from in this thread in response to this piece of garbage].

MR_MJ, are you a complete idiot or do you just think everyone else is? Read the article. ACORN turned the false registrations over to the authorities, unsolicited. They fired the workers and turned them in as well, unsolicited. You must be a complete idiot. Noone could be stupid enough to think they could fool others into thinking this is a plan for vote theft.

Sure...ACORN puts up a big front when caught...like its not their fault and they are cooperating.

You are such a joke.

What a fool.

I've told you before, those are fighting words. However, you're just such a dishonest piece of shit that exposing you for a fool and liar will have to do.

If you support ACORN...you support vote fraud. Period.

Only a complete idiot could even try to suggest that ACORN isn't responsible for the countless violations all over the country.

Cut shorty makes excuses for vote fraud by ACORN, plain and simple.
Don't believe me...google ACORN vote fraud and see for yourself!

Cut Shorty...you are flat out lying...and here is the proof:
I called you out...what are you going to do now?

ACORN Embezzlement Scandal is the Latest Controversy in Group's Long, Corrupt
History Says Employment Policies Institute

Activist Group's Fraud and Dishonest Practices Further Cemented by Cover-Up
Scheme

WASHINGTON, July 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Tim Miller, Communications
Director of the Employment Policies Institute, issued the following statement
after The New York Times published an explosive expose this morning detailing
how the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) covered
up nearly $1 million in embezzled funds by its founder's brother:

"It comes as no surprise that ACORN founder and chief organizer Wade Rathke
hid his brother's embezzlement of nearly $1 million dollars from the
'charitable' organization's employees, board of directors, and donors. This is
just one more page in ACORN's corrupt history, which already includes election
fraud investigations in at least a dozen states, hypocritical and oppressive
employment practices, and a political agenda driven by a handful of
anti-corporate activists.

"This shameful embezzlement scheme and the eight year cover-up ought to make
supporters and donors wary of associating themselves with ACORN. It's bad
enough that the boss' brother stole almost a million dollars, but for Wade
Rathke to sweep the crime under the rug and keep his brother on ACORN's
payroll is a disgrace."

More information about ACORN's long history of corruption can be found in the
Employment Policies Institute's recent report "Rotten ACORN: America's Bad
Seed" -- available online at HYPERLINK "http://www.rottenacorn.com/"

I love how NBC was reporting California to Kerry when like 15% of the votes were in...

Fair and balanced.

Watching dan rather have a panic attack was priceless. My only regret is that the donkey didn't roll over and die like Tim Russert.

I live in Cleveland. During that election hot lines set up to help out voters were giving false information to people in known black neighborhoods. Voters were actually told that if they did not have time to vote that day they could go the next day. Poor areas were given less polling stations causing long lines while rich neighborhoods were given many more stations per person.

Those have proven to be false allegations.

I'm talking about facts.

Milwaukee had 4000 more votes than they had registered voters in the system. ACORN pulled a lot of shit.

In a close election like 2004...rigging Milwaukee could tip the whole state...and tip the whole election.

No they haven't. Maybe some BS media sources claimed them as false but I heard person after person call local shows and complain about this happening to them. Our local hip hop/r&b station did days on this issue. People were calling like crazy about personal experiences. Local news were at polling stations showing long lines at the black neighborhoods, then they'd cut to a pure white station and it is nice and open. Tons of space and no long lines. This is all fact that can't be denied to anyone except those dumb enough to believe the lies.
