I actually have the opposite... I only have one hearing person in the wedding party, haha! That'd be my fiancée's hearing brother. My best man, groomsmen, bride, maid of honor, and all bridesmaids are all deaf. Culture shock hitting you yet, eh, shdw01? :toast:

I'm not going to the bash (although I hope to next year since most people here seem cool) but I really have got to ask this question. I come here to read on the board everyday and there are obviously some people who clearly don't like each other....WVU has been called a stiff by some and shady, etc etc and he will be there. There unquestionably will be others who's relationship with each other is icy..
So I must ask, is there drama at the bash? Will anyone drink a few too many and things get out of hand? Not trying to instigate anything, but all the bantering I see on this board, I find it hard to believe some of y'all won't get at each others throats after 8 beers....
Just my 2 cents...

I'm not sure how serious WVU is about going to the bash. He has made a few enemies over this last incident. I think it is actually funny that he posts in this thread as if he is attending. He must want to win the DB contest.
With that said, if he is serious, then I'm sure he has met many posters here and has made many friends. With a reasonable, sincere (lol) explanation, I think the rx bash crew will treat him fine.
Haven't seen any violence before, but I think if he acts like a jerk then we will have some great bash 2008 story!
There are no fights at the Bash because the people that show up there don't do it to get in fights. There are enough fun people to talk to who wants to waste time fighting with retards?
People also have a tendency to be more of a warrior on an anonymous Internet board than they do in person.
This guy can be real tough on the Internet to make up for his shortcomings in real life.
