If college kids have to play the BCS championship game a week after playing the final 4, paid NFL men should have to play the SB a week after the champ game.

Two weeks IMO is too long.......

well they do get a month off in college

Hell no, 2 weeks of hearing about what Brady ate for dinner or the Eagles bus was late for practice and tons and tons of stupid commercials. Play the game.

No problem, guess I'm just used to it now, it's tradition.

I don't think I would like them shortening it to one week. Gives us all time to prepare for our parties

The only one week layoff I remember was after a strike shortened season. Maybe it was 1 week early on.

I looked it up, they were played after 1 week for like 4 consecutive years, 2000 to 2003, and 7 times overall just like GB said.

I dont mind the 2 week wait at all. I like that the Pro Bowl got moved up to the week before the super bowl. Its still a crap game but ever since they moved the game to the mainland, its been pretty fun for the fans.

I know plenty of people who have gone to the pro bowl or have attended the events leading up to the pro bowl in recent years and they all told me that they had a great time!!

I dont mind the long halftime show either as the super bowl is an "event" and not a "game". The halftime show give the "non football fan" something to watch as its all about ratings ratings and even more ratings.

Just think of how many people are going to be pissed if "This is Us" (the show that will be airing after the superbowl) starts late those people didnt set their dvr's accordingly!!
