Analysis - This year's rivalry game between No. 17 Texas A&M and Texas certainly has a different feel than previous seasons. Last year, the Longhorns won 49-39 en route to the BCS title game, while this season they are struggling even to become bowl eligible. Texas (5-6, 2-5) had high expectations and entered this year ranked fifth in the AP poll but have struggled offensively with a new quarterback offensive playbook. The Longhorns' struggles in Austin have been the most surprising. They entered this season having won 15 straight home games, but they've suffered home losses to UCLA, Iowa State, Baylor and Oklahoma State. Texas snapped its four-game overall losing streak with a 51-17 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday. Quarterback Garrett Gilbert passed for 263 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score. The defense also held their own holding Florida Atlantic to 88 rushing yards. Texas A&M (8-3, 5-2) has been one of the biggest surprises in college football this season. The Aggies dropped their first two Big 12 games but made a huge turnaround winning five in a row including wins over Oklahoma and Nebraska. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has helped turn things around throwing for 10 touchdowns during Texas A&M's five-game winning streak. Tailback Cyrus Gray has also boosted the offense rushing for more than 100 yards in five straight games - the first Aggies running back to do so since Darren Lewis in 1990. *As bad as Texas has been when it comes to turnovers, it has only given up two more than A&M. The Aggies offensive line has a rough time in pass protection allowing a league high 33 sacks so expect the Longhorns to blitz frequently. The offense did struggle against Nebraska last week with only 310 total yards and no touchdowns. Mack Brown has not had a losing season since 1986 and the longhorns have never lost five conference games in a row. This is the same Texas team that shocked Nebraska on the road and played for the national championship last year. The Longhorns desperately need to win this game to avoid missing a bowl for the first time since 1997. Texas A&M has had a great run but should be running on fumes after such a big win over Nebraska. The Longhorns are much better than their record shows and will finally put together a complete game.* Look for Texas to play its best game of the year and pull off the upset on Thanksgiving Day.

Bengals at Jets
Pick: Over 42.5

The Jets' defense, while better than average, has not played at the same level as it did in 2009 and the most recent evidence of this came last week when they allowed Houston to come back in the fourth quarter, down 23-7, to take a late 27-23 lead before the offense rallied the Jets to a 30-27 victory. Cincinnati's defense a strength last season in their march to the AFC North title has been a weakness this season. Statistically, the Bengals have played 5 games this season against "Class A" teams those teams currently with records more than 2 games above .500. 4 of those 5 have gone OVER the Total with an average of 50.2 total points per game in the 5. The Jets' profile is even better. In 5 games against "Class C" teams those with current records more than 2 games below .500 -- the Jets have gone OVER in all 5 games which have averaged 46.8 total points per game.
