texas has nothin to play at all! even if they win by 50 they still dont have any chance to win the title!

they have not seen aphysical running back in the big 12 either!

on the other hand ohio st. has heard for 2 years how bad they have looked in bcs games! alot more nfl players on ohio st for what that is worth! they might get beat but not by much!

texas 24

ohio st 21

......mark it down now.

Texas Tech's defense gets worked. The Big 12 looks like more of a fraud as every damn bowl goes by.

OSU rolls? wtf are you thinking dude? I will be very shocked if OSU covers none the less win and your saying they roll. Thats just an idiotic post. Potentially the best team in the country getting roled by a big ten team who is having an off year. And if you wanna talk about teams who fold how bout OSU the past couple of years. I just got dumber reading your post "OSU rolls"?? LMAO :missingte:missingte:missingte

Texas is not the best team in the country. Not even close. They did well in a conference that doesn't play defense.

They have no explosion on offense, and their defense isn't very good. The Big 12, overall, just isn't very good at all.

Their defense is pretty good i think. I actually think their defense is more talented than their offense even though McCoy and the offense get all the publicity. Muschamp is a hell of a defensive coordinator. Outstanding motivator.

Their offense has overachieved severely i think. When i look at their offense in general, i just don't see an overwhelming amount of talent there. I mean, they really don't have any gamebreaking backs, and none of the receivers would probably even start for Oklahoma. I think people may be surprised when Texas struggles to put up big numbers on OSU.

First of all UTx has the best D in the Big12 by far. Second, can the Buckeyes exploit the Horns weakness on D (secondary)? I don't think Pryor is good enough. UTx's front 7 is as good as anyone's and their rush D should be more than solid playing against a pretty standard OSU offense.

Also, OSU has struggled badly with running QB's and that will be their undoing - esp now that UTx has found a RB to help McCoy. I like the Horns here, but I dont think it will be a USC type of game at all. 30-17 or 31-20, something like that.

Texas will be focused on this game because their intent will be to have showcase game which means they will try to smash out and run a train on OSU simply for the reason that they will want to lay a claim to the National Championship once OU pulls the upset on Florida.
Texas will come to play and they have a lot to play for here, Mack bRown is a motivator if nothing else and will have his team motivated to send a message to the voters.

I am from Ohio also and know they once again they don't belong in this game. They played 2 good teams this year and got beat by both the only team they played close to the same calibur was USC and they could not score a TD. There O-line is just not that good against top flight teams they are not used to playing them as the big ten is once again having a down year. Pryor still takes to long to make decisions he is still so young these good teams can play man on the slower osu receivers as we seen in all the other big games they have played they will get down and when they do believe me thyey will not be able to pass to get back in it.

Texas does not equal USC by any stretch of the imagination.

Texas is not the best team in the country. ...snip... They have no explosion on offense, and their defense isn't very good.

I assume you're confusing Texas with some other team, maybe Texas A&M. Here are the numbers you must not have looked at. Texas ranks:

 • 4th in the nation in scoring offense, at 43.9 ppg.
 • 10th in the nation in passing offense, at 299.5 ypg.
 • 9th in the nation in total offense, at 476.4 ypg.
 • 18th in the nation in scoring defense, at 18.6 ppg allowed, despite playing in a conference with 5 of the nation's 10 best scoring offenses.
 • 2nd in the nation in rushing defense, at 73.58 ypg allowed.

Texas' weakness on defense is against the pass. If the Buckeyes are depending on Terrelle Pryor's passing ability to win the game... well, it could be a long night for Ohio State.

Maybe next season you can watch a few Big 12 games so you're sure of which team is which, and have an idea of just how much better the top teams are compared to the best of the Big Ten.

if you all want to win money on the two big games left...you all should listen to fugazi...he just told you what will happen.

thank him later...and thank me later as well for pointing out his post.

Texas rolls...Tulsa wins SU...and Oklahoma thumps Florida...I'm from Ohio and I'm a huge Florida fan. I just love money a lot more.

good luck. oh, and i only have 50 posts...not even, so what do i know. lol

Let's be serious...Texas could still pontentially win the national championship with a Florida loss, since they beat Oklahoma. It's still a vote. ...When Ohio St faced the best team in the Pac-10...They were embarrased. When they faced the best team in their own conference......they were beaten, at home!.... Let's not forget Texas is one miracle catch away from an undefeated season.....Texas will come out for this game expecting to be the national champions....and Ohio St will be beaten on the national stage for the 3rd consecutive year. .........Texas jumps out to an early lead and Ohio ST will have to abandon the run to try to come from behind...with a weak pass offense against the #2 pass Defense in the nation.

This will be a lesson in how to play Football.

Texas 52
Ohio St 17
