A&M did score 28 against Oklahoma, which is slightly worrisome, but they also gave up 66...in only three quarters. OU basically coasted through the fourth quarter...

Texas 56 Texas A&M 7

And I'm being conservative.

LOL...My estimate was 63-10. Don't be idiots here and take the huge # of points. If you want to take A&M, just ask yourself? Will the porous A&M D stop Texas offense one time? The answer is likely no.

OU could have hung 90 on them. Their defense is beyond a train wreck when taking on video game offenses.

Muschamp will hold the Aggies in check. I don't imagine they will pull off more than 14. Kansas was lucky to even get 7. Muschamp will be fired up since he will eventually get Mack's job, but I don't see A&M scoring much.

Now on the flip side is this. This is the last game, and we know that Mack must make Texas look good to get the National Title Shot. The question is this. Will Mack do this????
It is senior night at Longhorn Stadium, and with that I believe he will let all seniors play in the game at one time or another.

If the score is by 3TD's at the half, will he let off the gas? That is the question. If he does, the spread might not be covered. That I believe is the main question for Texas. Hit em hard, or will Mack be soft on the Aggies.

Your thoughts?

Are you kidding? After the showing that OU made the other night against Texas Tech, you think Mack Daddy isn't going to try and match scores? People around here tend to forget about what a potent offense the Horns had before they had to go throught that grueling 4 game top 10 schedule. Texas will be rested and ready for the kill here in prime time. Bank on it.

Have to agree with GS, this game will be more like a D-1 school playing a D-2 school. If texas gets any kind of pass rush, the game is over. End of story and the score will be bad... probably worse than GS said.

On a different note the outcome of this game, to me, should not decide the NC race... as far as im concerned OU should have it. OU's offense is explosive, much more so than Texas... i think that the red river rivalry should be played later in the year for situations just like this. In either case, every time its close, everyone always says... if it was played later in the year, we would have won. I think, if it was played again this weekend ou would take it. Instead, one writer i saw said let A&M decide, whoever beats them worse let them take it. How is that fair to OU? If they would have known that, the score would have been much worse.

Brown has class though... im not sure he wants to do that, after he lobbied very hard for the NC in 05 he faced alot of criticism for it.

"Sitting here and talking about (the BCS) is disrespectful to A&M," Brown said. "The only input we can have is to play well Thursday night."

In another article, Brown said that he wont talk about the BCS or allow his players to talk about it until after the game... Its what caused them to lose the last two games <- his words not mine... or at least similar

linebets...Just the idea that coaches need to commit classless acts like running up scores is exactly what makes the BCS a terrible way to decide a national champion. I'm actually hoping the BCS becomes a muddled mess this year. Hopefully it will spark the powers that be to at least get off their asses and start the process of looking for another alternative.

Gs I don't like the bcs system at all. I Agree running up the score is classless but sometimes teams can't help it. Ie a score of 77-0 :)... By that I mean no matter what the do they can't help but score... The other team is just that bad

the play is texas.

they will try to match Oklahoma's beatdown of Texas Tech.
A&M will only score probably 7-10 points.
I am sure Texas can score at will against this team and cover with ease.
