Paradise, you are by far the biggest idiot here. By far. If you are dumb enough to think that Texas out-recruited Baylor or TCU this past recruiting season, you deserve to have your worthless arse kicked out of here. If what you say is true, (and it is not), care to explain why BOTH Oklahoma and Texas are getting their tails kicked big time by Baylor in the past two seasons? Baylor outscored OU to the tune of 89-26 in the past two seasons and Texas 58-17 in those seasons. Yet you and the other Big 12-2 homers in here still insist that OU and Texas are oyt-recruiting Baylor? If that is so, what is your excuse for those two teams getting their worthess arses handed to them for the past two years? Is it the Coaching?

Homers are the absolute worst people to listen to when they are talking about their own conference. Nothing but hopes, prayers, and a bunch of B.S. comes out of their mouths, but when it comes time to put up or shut up, the only two things that come of their mouths is whining and excuses. As we speak, homers from all conferences are all ready hard at work figuring out their excuses for their failures this season. Homers are a joke. These are the wanna-be's that do not have a pot to pee in but want you to think that they do.
BD - Agree with you on some of the recruiting however I think despite advantages that Texas and OU have over TCU and Baylor, good coaches like Briles and Patterson can coach circles around Stoops and Strong. I liken it to the the NFL Draft. ACC backers like to crow about them having the 2nd most players selected in the draft, but their teams (other than FSU and Clemson) have under performed on the field for the past 5+ years do the lack of coaching prowess. Conferences like the SEC and even the PAC12 and Big10 have realized that you have to get top notch guys to lead the programs. Give me a good coach and he's make a 3* guy play like a 4*, and a 4* guy play like a 5* guy.

OU and Texas will always recruit better than Baylor over the long haul. The reason why Baylor has had the upper hand on OU in recent years even though OU recruits better line and defensive players, is Briles knows how to utilize his skill players better, and he is a very unpredictable offensive innovator. Mike Stoops has been totally lost in how to defense them. I still think Baylor's weak link is their defense. This is where they'll never be able to recruit as well as the bluebloods of college football, and why I doubt they'll ever win a national championship unless they somehow run into a perfect storm in the playoff..

No inside knowledge, but I would guess Harbaugh, Tomlin, Gruden, and possibly even Dantonio were higher on their list than Charlie Strong.

none of those were boosters choices.

MANY florida recruits have issues sticking when they leave the state of Florida. By the way, I hate Texas.
