angelle, it is going to be hard to have a contest at the horseshoe...because it will be very expensive...to have a contest....they drag vig out of each pot...and for us to have our own contest...it would be better to have it in the reserved room upstairs...just have the contest for free to rx members and have shrink ewinner and the sponsors donate prices to the winner....i would like tp play as well but if you need someone to just be the dealer i will do that as well...all we really need is chips and a couple decks of cards...but if you're thinking about having the contest at a casino count me out it's too expensive with them cutting pots and the like...it would cost the winner of the contest 1,000 dolars to win a free acount of 250...thanks for listening and reading...jeffksu

they said they would open a table for us if we had 10 people.
Can you explain to them that we are trying to have a mini tournament? Ask them if they can just charge us a flat rate or something? maybe by the hour just for the use of the table?
They have to understand we will not just be playing a normal game where you rake X amount of money out of the pot. We would need them to provide say 500 chips to each player to have a tournament regardless of what we made the buyin.
Say we play $50
we could make it $50 + 5 to horseshoe.
Something like that is pretty standard. I just wanted to make sure they knew we were having a tournament.
