Just read through this whole thing. Interesting thread.

That Miami Northwestern team ended up setting a national record if I remember right by sending 18 kids to DI-A scholarships at the end of the year. Insane amount of talent on that team.

Ok here we are as I promised. I will share everything that I recieve on MNW as well as SLC.

Here is a video of MNW. I would hope that you notice the words "FUCK, MOTHER ******, SHIT, and GOD-DAM" my my my.....such a shame for our kids. Also take notice in Players fighting coaches and the total lack of respect from player to coach. This is a 10 minute video which will lose your interest very fast!!!!!!!!

QUEEN OF HEARTS

Amazing this thread ran for like four years after I started it ....Illl bump it this time.

Pretty sure Harris and Spence were in that video ....probably many more. So much talent , such a shame.

I wonder what the Dodges are up to ...

Jacory Harris: Implicated Miami players practiced Wednesday
Jacory Harris - QB - MIF - Aug. 17 - 2:43 pm et
A dozen current Miami players implicated by former booster Nevin Shapiro, including QB Jacory Harris, practiced Wednesday.
There’s no telling how this situation in Coral Gables will unravel, but 12 active players receiving improper benefits is no small sample. Not only that, this is not just any Dirty Dozen when it comes to playing experience. Harris has been battling to re-gain his starting spot and Travis Benjamin is the Hurricanes’ leading returning receiver. Three defensive ends involved include Oliver Vernon, who registered six sacks a year ago. Linebacker Sean Spence had 59 solo tackles in 2010.

I live in the area and have kept up with Southlake and all Texas high school football for as long as I can remember.....Riley Dodge as far as I know, is still at Univ North Texas. I'm not sure what Todd Dodge is doing since he got fired last year at UNT.....Where are you from Queen of Hearts?

Yes sir. I remember when current NFL kicker and former Southlake QB Kris Brown and Dane Johnson were winning titles in 3A. Best football game I ever watched live was between SLC and Vernon at pennington field back in 93 or 94. Final score was 30-28 I believe. I follow Trinity a bit, I like Lineweaver and the Tongans....last game I saw with Trinity was at Texas Stadium when Lineweaver tried the fake punt against SLC that backfired. Great game though. I live in Aledo

Pennington field in 1993 would have been the old stadium on Pipeline road I think ??? lots of memeories there.....had lots of family playing for LD Bell and Trinity back in those days. ......

I like to stop by Boomer Jacks across the street from the new Pennington field on Central quite often these days.

Its all NFL to me now but I keep an eye on THSF ....

Aledo huh? I miss living in the country ....that is the life.

Pennington is still there, i think these days its just not big enough to hold the crowd for a good playoff game. The smaller schools still play there, but 4a and 5a schools pretty much require 20k seats for playoffs, hell that Southlake and Trinity game at texas stadium a few years ago had 50,000 people there. the new stadium is Birdville's. i've never been to Boomer Jacks, but ive heard good things. Aledo isnt quite as country as it used to be, but its still small town feel, you can leave your house unlocked and the keys in your truck, no police dept, a volunteer fire dept etc....lake travis at aledo week 2 on channel 21 should be a hell of a game. lake travis has won 3 4a div 1 titles in a row, and aledo has won 2 4a div 2 titles in a row......anyways, good luck to you on the NFL, hope to tail some of your plays
