Take a look at a map. You might notice that many of those states without an issue today NEVER shut down at all (NE, SD, ND for instance).

Texas has five times the MD population (30m to 6m). Texas has 776 positive cases per 100,000 people...Maryland has 1,172...this is called math and applying critical thinking skills. Hmmmm...oh you want to know about death rates...MD = 54/100,000 and TX = 10. What do you think the difference is? Don't stretch your ability...the answer is there are more cases in Texas because they have more people. There are more deaths in Maryland because they have mismanaged the crisis. Maybe genius Governor Cuomo can lend assistance? Hmmmm...better wait on that as his death rate is 166 per 100,000 mainly because he ordered the most vulnerable back to their nursing home death traps.

Another quick fact, more people died in NY nursing homes than have died in the entire state of Florida. You probably should stick to sports.
