I think Brady is gonna have a very good year. Don't think last year was indicative of much. That team was a disaster...AB, Gordon basically kicked off the team. Gronk retiring. Edelman battling injuries and drops all year, Andrews blood clot out before 1st gm, Wynn missed like 9 weeks. N'keal Harry was hurt/possibly a bust. Sanu trade a bust, he isn't even on an NFL team right now.

It is hard for people to fully wrap their heads around this because the guys got Patriot uniforms on and they've crushed the last 2 decades, but that team sucked.

Ya think?

Brady's skills had no chance to overcome that disaster. He ain't done yet.

He never had the best arm. He never had the best legs. But the things I mentioned are what set him apart from all the others his whole career. That Tampa Defense will even be better simply because they are playing with Brady who not only is the GOAT, but rarely turns the ball over. It really had to be discouraging playing with a guy who was himself responsible for 30 turnovers. That means the D is always coming back on the field. That's gotta be frustrating as hell if not physically draining. That Defense will have spring in their step this year knowing who is leading that offense.

Not top five? Depends how you measure "Top Five". But there are three guys who I would want leading my team this year - Brady, Maholmes, and Jackson. The other two are so athletic and skilled that they will also make all their teammates play better. Yes all their teammates, offense and defense.

Forgot one.

You can include Russell Wilson with the other three. Wilson is also a stud.

Brees
Mahomes
Wilson
Jackson
Rodgers

Brees? Can’t even throw 20 yds downfield. Main reason Saints choke year after year in postseason.
Rodgers? Hasn’t played at a high level in 3 years.

Surprised you didn’t add Dan Marino and John Elway to your lost.

Definitely one of the dumbest things I will read all day.

you must not proof read your own posts.

let’s see how he does without a top 3 WR in the NFL.

check out his red zone accuracy, if you’re curious to learn.

For several months of last year, his numbers were similar or arguably even worse than Mitch Trubisky’s. I’m talking about an 8-9 game sample size.

That’s despite the fact Deshaun Watson had a significantly better player at literally every position surrounding him than Mitch Trubisky did.

But if it makes you feel good to think Watson is a top 5 QB, you do you.

This big wang guy is something else.

find the guys that think Deshaun Watson is better than Matthew Stafford and you essentially find simpletons that think quarterbacks mean 1000x more to their team than they really do.

The lions are an 0-16 caliber team without Stafford. They’re a .500 or slightly below type team with him. So he must suck, right? Durrrrrrrrr

apparently Watson is elite because he takes a super talented team that goes 8-8 or 9-7 if he tears his acl in week 1 and drags them to greatness at 10-6. Lol.

He probably is a bit better
Stafford is shit against winning teams.
Who knows for sure what Watson really is but he has done pretty good so far. Stafford has a long history of losing to good teams
Detroit was 0-16 with an atrocious QB situation not just without Stafford
Texans are overrated defensively. They had a few great players but it didnt add up as a team
But anyway.....everyone has an opinion

Watson did tear his ACL 2017, Texans went 1-8 after that. Were 3-3 with him starting before that and had close losses @NE/Seattle.

they were 9-7 the 3 years before that all 3 years despite having no real QB either... just something to consider.

in any event, Watson has lost the Texans a lot of games over the last few years. There are games on the schedule that I can point to where they lost a close game and they literally got shut out in the entire first half or maybe the entire second half.

his effort in the playoff loss to the colts 2 years ago was one of the worst games by a quarterback I’ve ever seen in the playoffs.

He is very inconsistent, at best. Loses games that most quarterbacks would win and wins some games average quarterbacks wouldn’t win.

definitely not a top 5 QB though, not even close really.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watsoncould be facing more lawsuits tied to allegations of sexual assault and harassment, based on the latest news from attorney Tony Buzbee.
Buzbee, who already represents the unnamed women filing 16 civil suits against Watson for inappropriate behavior, announced Saturday that he filed the 20th civil case against the Pro Bowl quarterback. While the claim hasn’t been confirmed, it will be known on Monday when submitted court filings can be accessed.

NO owner in the NFL will offer three #1 draft choices plus a few starters for him, now, no way... probably will not offer anything for this scumbag.

Take your kids to the game to see Deshaun play? Nope.

I’m beginning to wonder if this story is now gonna make it all the way back here to Clemson...

Then again, probably not, those college girls did it because they wanted to at the all night kegger.

Dumbo Sweeney would have offered his daughters up to Watson the Wang if that is what it took to keep him on the field. The only guy in American sadder about the situation than DeWang is his agent. How long will that suspension be?

Matt Stafford has never won shit at any level. Big arm, tough guy but a stat padder loser. Him and you definitely have the loser gene in common.
