Now the gov't has credible evidence of specific targets and the same complainers say that they are trying to scare the American public and overshadow the Democratic convention (btw nice job kissing ass to Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton)

Like I said, if the leaders of this country don't say anything they are blamed when an attack occurs.

Whoever blamed Bush for 9/11 is an idiot.
A case could be made for Ashcroft and his outburst about not wanting to hear another word on terror, but that's not really the matter at hand, is it?
I am telling you that there is ALWAYS a threat, there always has been and there ALWAYS will be ...
that's why the US, along with much of the world, has national defense.
The problem isn't that I do not believe that threats exist or not, rather it is becoming very clear watching Bush, Cheney, Guiliani, etc .. that the are hollywood-ing the threats to instill fear into America and to channel that into political support.
That is nearly as sickening as terror itself, both Saudi and American alike.
