If history has taught us anything, it would be SOME PEOPLE are VERY EVIL.
Deadly force whether it be in the form of a one's hands, chemical, nuclear, biological, hydrogen bombs, poisons, knifes, firearms etc. can be utilized in the destruction or PROTECTION of one's life and liberties.

You could make guns illegal tomorrow and the criminals would continue to break the law, and get a gun. It's illegal to rob banks and steal cars and criminals still do it. The ones that would be hurt by making guns illegal are the law abiding citizens not the Malvo's of the world. You utopians just don't understand how tough the real world is. Kaya Man - If you go to Germany, Russia, or France you are probably right about our image being bad. These countries loved the US when Clinton was President because they could walk all over us. Now that Bush is president, they can't. That's why they don;t like us. Not to mention all of the illegal deals we are finding out about these countries.
