so dennis dixon didn't dominate usc last year?

Who are you talking to here? As I said:

It's because their LB's are overaggressive. OSU would be stupid not to run a bunch of misdirection and spread formations with Pryor back there.

So, once again, yes, USC can be had by mobile QB's but it's not because of a lack of speed, it's because their LB's ALWAYS overpursue on misdirection and spread formations.

usc can not contain rushing qbs. anyone remember the vince young fiasco? only sec speed can contain those qbs. usc can not.

I remember Vince Young very well.

Do you remember that USC lost 5 starters before the '06 season began?

Man that was 2 years ago. You should look at the difference in the defense USC brings to this game compared to the defense they had to play with all that season. Big difference. USC's D was their Achiles heel in '06 when they played Texas.

I'm glad you brought this up. IF USC loses (doubtful), how long until someone posts that USC lost a bunch to the draft after last season?

FW, going in I think everyone knows this. But I was referring to '06 when USC lost it's defense to injuries in spring and fall camp. It changed the face of the team yet they still managed to get into the NC game primarily on offense. Since then their defense has been kept more in tact and this year it is exceptionally healthy... fortunately -- even though Sanchez looks like he can pick up where Leinart left off. He's much better than Booty.

ohio state football is completely overhyped on all levels. pryor did nothing against OHIO UNIVERSITY of note, chris wells isnt half the star espn hypes him up to be

You obviously don't know shit about football. Beanie is a top 5 pick.

I know following SMU football can do that to an individual.

Is this a joke? USC has the best team speed in the nation.

Now, they have had problems in the past containing mobile QB's, but it's not because of a lack of team speed. It's because their LB's are overaggressive. OSU would be stupid not to run a bunch of misdirection and spread formations with Pryor back there.

You must be talking about the drug speed. Is the whole team on this drug?? I know you are not talking about speed with athletes on the football field. Florida has the best team football speed in the Nation. What a joke your statement is. You should try doing a little research first so you don't have to pull your foot out of your mouth after the fact.

someone is an osu hater. beanie wells is the #1 junior back in the nation. cushing is an overrated white lb who can't keep healtyh and maulauga is a good lb but looks to make the highlight hit and if he tries that on beanie, beanie will make him look like a bitch

Chris "Beanie" Wells is an overhyped ESPN product and isn't worthy of daily updates and injury reports. Pryor should've went to Michigan where he could've grown in the spread offense of Rich Rodriguez and thrived, he's not well suited for a Jim Tressel offense.

like i said, cannot wait to see pete carroll blow out the most overhyped college football team in america. look for usc's backups to get some reps late 3rd quarter while wells is on the bench getting a foot massage. tressell will have that same puzzled look on his face at the end of the game and give the same bullshit excuses he gives in the post game press conference after each big game defeat...what else is new?

USC does not have the best team speed. Florida does and it's really not close at all.

That being said, even though it was years ago and a totally different team so it's not relevant anyway.....Vince Young did not burn them, he ran over them. It wasn't the speed that gave them problems.

Please don't make me pull out my scouting reports with all the 40 times on every player at every position. Obviously you have never seen one. "not close at all".... PLLLLLLLEASE cut with all the talk out your ass. You make yourself look like a lying fool.

What gave USC problems in that game was the fact that they lost almost 1/2 of their defensive starters to injuries before the season ever began.

Please pull out the scouting reports of USC's speed vs. Florida's speed.
