I knew what he was driving at ..... BUT those people crossing the border are FOREINERS.

So he's willing 2 help out a foreigner as long as HE is getting something out of it ( oh , I don't know ....... Cashing Checks for a cut )
BUT ......... he's NOT WILLING 2 invite foreigners into his home 2 help them out ?

I'm not a stranger to finance, if you write a bad check; it falls on the person that signed for it.

If I go buy a 100K watch; yes I may get it right then but eventually that check doesn't go through and they go after the person/ company/ signature that wrote the check.

There is nothing wrong with helping people. Sometimes it may be hard for him to get to the bank. He sent the customer an invoice. Must have done some for them and they paid for it.
