uh, ok. face)(*^%

Huge impact.....teddy set for a good year....great play faker and a solid qb.....Minnesota very solid with him.....Hill is just a standard back up. Teams will fill box way more now on AP, who will be forced to carry an even heavier load.

You are wrong on literally everything

Teams don't stack the box already against ap?

Vikings offense with or without bridgewater is run first and run often. They didn't stretch the field at all last year. I had AP in fantasy and watched most of his games. He faces stacked boxes every single game.

As a team, it will hurt the vikings because Hill will make mistakes where bridgewater won't. But for fantasy, it's little to no impact on AP

AP has been overcoming team deficiencies his whole career, but it would be foolish to say team deficiencies (Shaun Hill at QB) doesn't hurt his value a little.

What if they're behind more because they're just not as good? AP was playing less and less on 3rd down last year. What if their offense isn't as good and they get less red zone opportunities.

I'm not a big fan of Teddy Throwsevelt but Hill is bad and old.

I wouldn't draft AP before this injury and I wouldn't draft him now

But shaun hill will at least stretch the defense and keep them honest where they didn't do that last season at all

However, he is a gunslinger and will make a lot of mistakes. So to your point they could be trailing more.

It's a wash imo. But bad for the Vikings. And pretty heartbreaking for Teddy.

Thats ridiculous.....not only will defense gamble more against the run by stacking the box.....Hill will make enough mistakes to limit offensive possessions and put them in situations where they will be trailing in games.....if trailing you pass more. It impacts everything they wanna do offensively ....literally their entire game plan. Which impacts what AP will be doing. You ever watch football?

Get it now?

The only time in Shaun Hill's career that he stretched the defense was when he had Calvin Johnson. That is the reason everyone thinks he is serviceable. Same thing happened 2 years ago when Bradford went down and he started the season for the Rams. And he was terrible.

I liked Diggs as a sleeper too, less chance he breaks out now.

On the twitter page they fear he tore his ACL.

Regardless.....Prays for Teddy....Solid young talent.

He wasn't terrible for the rams. Wasn't great, but far from terrible

Their defense was playing really well which helped him a lot, but he still got benched midway through the season.

If their defense plays like it did last year then he could be OK but like Denver and Dallas, things can go bad pretty fast in the NFL if you've got no QB play.

I want to be very clear so some jackass doesn't bump this after they struggle

This is a terrible blow to the vikings as a team

All i'm saying is if you liked AP yesterday, you should still like him today

I mostly agree but there are degrees in fantasy. You can think he isn't a top 3-4 RB anymore and now he is more in the 6-7 range, therefore if the rest of the free world thinks his value doesn't change then you now won't get him. Whereas before you may have picked him up with Teddy Throwsevelt under center.

Really the more I was sizing things up, I thought Zeke Elliott was the top RB (besides Bell/D Will combo) in PPR and now with Romo's injury I think it brings him back to the pack a little. So it isn't always an absolute buy/sell thing.

Ian Rapoport (NFL Network).....It's now official, an MRI has confirmed that <s>#</s>Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater has a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2016 season.

Be interesting to see what the new NFC North odds are. Between Shaun Hill starting for the Vikes and Rodgers being on a mission after his ungrateful punk little brother tried to throw him under the bus on the Bachelorette, you gotta be liking GB's chances right now.

A lot of the posts re. this are BS!! Yes, Hill is serviceable, that's ALL he is, it's all he's ever been. As far as AP goes I could give a shit less about this stupid fucki "FF". The simple facts are: We'll have to pick up anothet QB, who. I don't know G Smith, Sanchez, Ponder, none are anyone's answer, I don't think there is one. SO. yes we have a very good D, not great but it'll do. Next AP will have to have a close to league leading yr. Rudolph is also going to have to step up, and Turner is going to have to use him more. I agree w/a poster Diggs is on the verge of one of the best. So that's it guys, we got the fickle finger again!!
