I have personally never bet that much on a game, but isn t that a taxable event? Think it is 3K at sports books and then they get your SS # and pass it on to IRS.Creating a taxable transaction. Wouldn t you do several tickets?? Nice pick and I didn t see hardly anyone who liked TCU.Watching the game it looked like it should of been about a pickem.

Probably when he making sure many big bets there no point to try to get around the tax stuff because they going to tax the years winning in total not the single transactions...plus it's up to you to report what your yearly earnings are...

No way around gambling winnings, or winning gamblers lining up to pay their taxes on winnings.You must believe that is a lot more likely than I do.But glad he hit it,and you have a lot more in your pocket when a losing streak hits and your preserving some of your bankroll, if your not as eager to pay the tax man.Years that I have been on the plus side, I am not going out of my way to pay taxes on winnings.Lets be honest, theirs not a lot of gamblers that have to pay taxes on winnings.

Just saying that either you files your taxes...or don't file your taxes and take the risk of not being audited later which I'm sure lots of gamblers rather not pay and take that risk too...can't blame anyone that rather not pay taxes and take risk either...
