So I guess if you kill someone it will be okay because you blew .061 and not over .08? Are you that much more under the influence by that difference? The fact is, he didn't get cut by just that one incident. He is and will always be a turd. Just like Pacman Jones is and will always be a turd.

Do you know what it takes to blow a .061? Try about 2-3 beers. What a joke.

No he wasn't. DUI is above .08 and DWI is above .15 in Zona...

Doesn't matter. Technically you can be charged with DUI (if they want to be dicks) with any blood alcohol level. It's up to the discretion of how you were driving and if you were a threat on the road. BA's are just the state saying that at this level or higher you definitly can't drive. They generally don't charge though because if you get a lawyer and such it's hard to prove you were incapable of driving.

You can get charged with driving under the influence if you had a couple sleeping pills and were driving strange, let alone just a couple beers.

So...is everyone forgetting Tank's past & the fact that he was out at 3:30am on a Wednesday after some cocktails?

Not saying the Bears overreacted or whatever...but from their standpoint, wouldn't you want him to make a 'better' attempt at trying to keep his nose clean...just one week after getting out of jail (while pledging to be the NFL Man of the Year)?

The U.S. averages about 17,000 deaths a year from alcohol related traffic accidents. The cops don't determine what the level is with regards to being legally intoxicated while driving. That's what the lawmakers do.

You TTinCO state that .061 is only about 2-3 beers. How else should we do it? Obviously, there are many factors involved with how many alcoholic drinks a person will get drunk on. Should we have a different standard for males who weigh between 225 and 250? What about a female who is 5'1" and weighs 100 pounds?

I'm sure everyone here has driven a vehicle after too many drinks. If you made it home you got lucky. If you got busted you didn't. The law is what it is. If you get busted for DUI or DWI you get what you deserve.

im pretty sure the relationship is linear so for a person weighing 100 pounds it would be one beer ;)

The US averages about, oh 250,000 fat asses that die each year of heart attack or related cardiovascular problems because, well, they are fat asses. I think we should send the cops to all the fast foods establishments and issue tickets for those fat asses that exceed a safe level of weight. This way we can save even more people from themselves and even more money from the Medical System because these fat asses cost our society money. If a fat ass is found out in public, write the bastard a ticket. Just another heart attack away, nothing different in terms of those who over indulge.

I'll check the penal code but I don't think being fat is against the law. If a person chooses to be a fat body and dies from it that is their problem. When your family or loved ones are coming home from the movies or out to eat and a drunk driver wipes them out they had no choice in the matter.

Yea they can charge you with whatever they want when they want. Getting charged with something is complete fawking BS and means nothing until it gets to court and the system decided on what to press. They can reduce or increase the charge anytime during your case.

If you blow under <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:cs:smarttags" /><st1:NumConv6p6 sch="4" val=".08">.08</st1:NumConv6p6> they have no scientific evidence to prosecute you so the burden falls on them proving you were under the influence by your driving, sobriety test or erratic behavior. <st1:NumConv6p0 sch="1" val="9">9</st1:NumConv6p0> times out of <st1:NumConv6p0 sch="1" val="10">10</st1:NumConv6p0> they drop the charges… <o:p></o:p>

Yes. They make guidelines and laws for a reason. If you have BAC under <st1:NumConv6p6 sch="4" val=".08">.08</st1:NumConv6p6> you should be fine to drive a car. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
You have to draw the line somewhere or you might as well have the laws like in DC.
<o:p> </o:p>
DC is a Zero Tolerance city. If you have a single drink you can't drive. End of story.<o:p></o:p>

"Impairment to the Slightest Degree." is a BS law that cops lock you up for when they realize that they fawked up and you are sober and they can't charge you with a DUI/DWI...

Instead of doing the right thing and letting you go they give a bs charge to make them seem like they are right...

Fawk man... Some forms of mouthwash can give you .01 to .03...

I agree the law is BS. I was just saying that you can't throw around words like "lawsuit" and "defamation of character" in this instance.

Does it really matter if he was legally drunk or not? An NFL team is not required to follow the "legal alcohol" limits. The fact is that he was drinking and that he drove with at least some level of alcohol in his system.

the fact that he does this on the heels of all his legal and NFL troubles would justify cutting him based on his own stupidity.
