Duemig did post once upon a time. The best part of getting xm radio for Xmas was not having to listen to him on the way home.
Thomas was unmatched in his knowledge of gambling. His Friday football shows were better than a regular paycheck. When he passed on, Steve tried to take on that role.
A lot of people really buy into his act. He tries to portray himself as "sharp", but he really doesn't know what he's talking about. He contradicts himself constantly, sometimes in the same call or segment. He puts some touts on and tries to make himself sound like one of them by throwing around some Vegas-sounding language around. It's embarassing to listen to him. As for picking games, he's the king of the after-the-fact "I had that one last week". Again, he contradicts himself so much that he might have had all sides of every game by the time the week is over. A sober Whitney Johnson (if there is such a thing--doesn't he always sound drunk and incoherent?), a rotation schedule, and a dart board would get you more winners.
Steve's a nice guy, but he's about as "sharp" as a marshmallow.
